Noob Question - Katarina Main - Rylai worth buying?

Still learning this game. I play Kat

Few Questions below:

  1. What's the cool down on Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Slow icon slow affected units by 20% for 1 second)? Does it stack? And what if I land 3 different abilities within a second, will the slowness be 60%? Is it good on Kat? my little brain is saying yes.

  2. If I play Katarina and I buy Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Damaging abilities and pet attacks Slow icon slow affected units by 20% for 1 second) AND Hextech Gunblade (slows the target champion's movement speed by 40% for 2 seconds (700 range) will this stack and the slowness will be 60%?

  3. If the answer is yes to no. 2 above and it stack, what happens if I buy Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Hextech Gunblade, Frozen Mallet, and Randuin's Omen. The slowness will be 100%+, what happens?

Only strongest slow is applied. They do not stack.

Like Madsin25 said it's just the strongest that's applied, but if you want to look at specifics of how game mechanics work the League Wiki is a really great resource; you can get very detailed information about game interactions that players may have an idea about, but can't give you specifics.

So building Rylai's Crystal Scepter AND Hextech Gunblade on Katarina is a bad idea? Unless you use it separately, E (Rylai passive applied)-->W--> Q --> then R + Hex OR E R + Hex. My biggest issues is enemies running away out of my ult/

Also, whats the CD on Rylai's Crystal Scepter slow?

I think at the moment if you build Rylai you kinda have to build Liandry as well to make use of both's passive. Rylai's stats are nice and all but there are better options for Kat. I would even think the Spellbinder item would be better on her, to boost movement speed, rather than to slow enemies down. But then again I don't buy Spellbinder.

I think it's worth being a 4th item unless there are constant team fights - your ult could help your team by slowing the enemies and your team can go HAM especially if you have more aoe Champs:D
