From what I heard conq nasus is good. The extra AS from precision helps with getting more damage in early. And most people underestimate your damage with conq.
He doesn’t usually build any armor shred items. And with conq converting 20% of his damage to true, his q is gonna deal a ton of damage to both tanks and squishies during the mid game.
One thing that I found about Nasus is that he helps with a bunch of CS situations during Laning Phase, if you know wave management and know when it is the right time to give up CS then you can scale into mid/late game with any champ and not just with Nasus.
His late game is average, not that bad but also not that good. Most of the enemy team’s damage dealers would have bought their final tank shred items (cause you will usually be going Tri into full tank) and can easily lock you down and burst you. Mid game is the time when you want to try and force the win, you will have your tri finished and hopefully at least one tank item. This is when you want to split and take towers, or group and force teamfights/objectives.
This applies to every split pushing style:
But with conq nasus I think split pushing is best, make sure your team knows to push hard while you are also pushing and fall back if nobody is on the map. If more than one enemy champ comes to the lane you are in and fights you, make sure your team understands that they should be forcing a teamfight on the enemy team while they have a numbers disadvantage or they are taking an objective either a tower or something in mid or the other side lane, or they are taking baron (if you are pushing bot) /drag (if you are pushing top).
