cinder hulk cannot kill the big jg creatures

i played a game today and brought the red buff to 1 hp and decided to have cinderhulk item 3709 take it so i don't waste and auto. then after two seconds of the buff being at 1 health, i realized that cinderhulk item 3717 did not do enough damage do anything but stop the big jg monsters regain. i say bit because the i tested it on the wolfs and the bit wolf was at 1 hp and keep regaining just enough to survive cinderhulk item 3725 .

first what the hell, i though the item was supposed to do damage not just counteract the healing of the jg monsters.

second, really why it is cool you can keep the buffs at 1 health is this really intentional. riot did you really plan this.

I'm not sure if i want it such that i would take the buffs or not but im sure i would like it to take the non buff large jg creatures. i would like some explanation about this.

if you dont believe me test it for yourself how long will the buff not die at 1 health if you dont hit it with cinderhulk item 3721

It's intentional, that way you can give the buff to someone else and not have to worry about the DOT stealing it.

do you people read the post or skim it because i made the same point and the guy before you made the same point.

It's so you can indefinitely hold it so you can pass the buff off to someone else. Sunfire Cap and Bami's Cinder will deal killing damage on them, but Cinderhulk will not (on large monsters).

while i see the value as i commented in the post exactly this (pls read the post) it does not say it anywhere about the item that i found. if you found where it does say it do share.

Buff, gold/cs, it doesn't matter; large monsters are valuable and can be strategically handed over to someone else even if all they need is the heal and gold.

then why not have it said in the item?

Deep Terror Nami1 votes

Liandry's doesn't, either. Where's your beef with that item?

Otter4Blue1 votes

it does, it says % current health only, why do you think Mondu cleaver has 80 damage attacked to it. %current health of 1 is rounded to zero by the system. which is part of the game mechanic, however cinderhulk does flat damage, and as such should say it on the item

Obviously, mathematically it couldn't, but in most situations like that in every game, it would just round up to 1 (rather than do nothing).

in Liandry's it is at most .04 damage in mundo clever it is .25 damage +80 when you are at 1 health no mr. by rules of rounding both % health damage will be rounded to 0.

look up significant figues if you dont believe me. this same principle goes for abilities that cost precent health like zac. if the cost is less than .5 the cost is 0.

Just % damage mechanics

Can we be done with this conversation? it's boring me and I have no interest in whether they add that note to Cinderhulk for clarity or not. You win, if that's what you want.

all i wanted to know if it is on purpose i did not mean to get into damage calculations. i just get very technical, sorry.

I'm not trying to be rude, sry

Otter4Blue1 votes

you were not rude, the topic just went off point and needed to be stoped

I would assume they didn't include on the item since the description is already very wordy, since it has three passives. It should definitely be mentioned on the item, but I think that's why it currently isn't.

then i would like it to be said outside the game even but lol wiki has nothing on this phenomenon
