A message to all junglers.

Top lane is a lane too. I know, it's not the most impactful lane but that doesn't mean you have to ignore it.

Every time i get a jungler who ignores my pleas of help, who doesn't care about toplane, and then gets angry at ME for not winning my lane. (I know it should be my job, but when i lose lane at least help a bit.)

I'd love to gank top lane, but for some reason people think pushing to the enemy tower is a really great way to set up a gank.

Then they don't ward. And the enemy jungler ganks. And, because you're an idiot who's pushed up to their tower with no vision, there's no way in hell I'm going up there to save your ass and give them another free kill.

Then you're under tower, farming because the enemy is ahead. I see a good opportunity to gank, but you just stand there like an idiot, brainlessly CS'ing after I've pinged 3 times and am currently CC'ing the enemy laner. If you were paying attention you'd be able to get a kill, but god forbid you actually do something.

Not saying every top laner is like this, but when 'top needs ganks too' is in my chat log, it's because that person is fucking terrible and/or is feeding, and wants to blame the jungler for his lack of, well, skill. Don't be that guy.

More often than not, top laners that are losing lane are doing so because they're playing badly, not because they're getting camped or their jungler isn't ganking enough. If you're 0/1/0 and still doing the same thing that got you killed, I'm going to gank bot lane and mid because I want to win. I'm not babysitting your ass and giving the enemy jungler complete control over mid and bot lane, as well as dragon control, no sir.

More often than not, top laners that are dominating are doing so without the jungler's help, and when the jungler does come to gank it's only because the enemy top is a walking bag of gold, and motherfucker as a jungler I need gold, Jewbama stole all the gold out my jungle. Thanks Jewbama.

Seriously, PSA to all laners period: If you're behind, your lane isn't warded, and you're pushed up to tower, YOU'RE FUCKING RETARDED! Don't blame your jungler for the enemy being better than Dirt 7 and sending your sorry ass back to fountain to make himself 300g richer, because it ain't his fault.

This isn't a message to all junglers, this is a message to bad junglers. In fact, most of the time I actually make ganking for top a priority whenever I can because i know the sooner you win lane the sooner you can start roaming, and that takes some pressure off of me to be everywhere all at once when my top laner is heading down to mid to help win that lane while I can just DAAAARRRKKKNEEESSSAAHHHH into botlane to pick up a double and a turret while they're scrambling to form some sort of a defense.

Its called top lane is usually stalled our or feeding. Who really wants to go up there and deal with either. If you try to gank while it stalled you usually don't gank successfully. If you gank while they are fed you die. If your lane partner is fed there is really no point in ganking. So I want to know what I do if nothing I do effects the lane which is usually how it works out. I mean if they ward right you generally can't gank top well as both lanes are doing the constant farm and harass flow and there is only one way the jungler can go through the lane successfully.

As and top/jg main I always give top lane bonus attention when jungling unless other lanes really have issues more so than top and requires my immediate assistance.

When I play jungle, I always find my self subconsciously wandering to top lane quite often.

Its usually better to get my assassin mid snowballing then to bail out a useless Chogath out of a top lane mess.. Dont first pick top lane and get counter picked then blame your jungler. Consider swapping with your allies or biting the bullet with JG/ADC/Support as a first pick as they are LESS likely to get completely countered.

Good junglers, in my opinion, see gold opportunities for themselves. The fact you are on the kill or that they share it with you is just a technicality or an unfortunate necessity. "Helping" you, or causing someone to feel "helped", is... well... that's just something that happens in the process.

They go where the money is at. If you are that laner that keeps yielding them successful ganks, they'll keep going up there to feed.

How to be "that" lane? Baiting an enemy to push up too far, but your health is obviously high and not wittled down to the bottom like you are getting your butt kicked, is a good jungle invitation. They want to make sure they can rely on your slows/snares and damage to secure the kill, and a part of them is thinking you aren't going to assist the gank if your health is low or you are playing in a way that demonstrates that you are mentally terrorized by your opponent. Some may try once just to see what you'll do, and that will determine whether or not they are ever coming back.

Some of it is bad luck. If you got Gnar, Reksai, or Nidalee in lane as an opponent (these are very 'safe' champions), even if they are pushed up they can be extremely difficult to chase down and kill before reaching their own turret. The jungler may think you are a good bet, but won't visit your lane because they know your opponent is too safe to produce results.
