That is way too op to have a slow attached to an ulti that powerful

Jhin's sacrifice of mobility for power doesn't really seem to warrant any kind of nerf like that. If they touch anything on his kit, it should just to tweak numbers a little up or a little down depending on the situation.

Though to be honest I don't find him that bad to play against, especially during his ultimate. If he uses it too close to your team, your assassins can jump him easily. If he uses it too far away, often your prime targets can escape the cone.

he runs faster than old ryze ulti if jhin builds 100% crit

Sigh...

Mobility is more than just your Movement Speed stat.

Jhin sacrifices mobility in a couple ways. First, his regular movement speed is just pretty average. If he builds high critical chance and attack speed he can chain critical hits and be pretty quick during fights except... All his abilities root him. His Q, W and E all have cast times where he stands in place. His ultimate forces him to stand still for its entire duration, as well as zooming out his camera making it pretty easy to sneak up on him.

Compare Jhin to other popular Marksmen. Caitlyn is a good comparison because they have a lot of similar skills. They both have a poke ability that doubles for wave clear. They both have traps. They both have very long range and a passive that enhances their basic attack's damage output. The one area they really differ is that Jhin has more damage steroids built in his kit then Caitlyn does - and in exchange he lacks the instant maneuverability that Caiyltn gains from her E.

So, again. Jhin sacrifices mobility for his damage bonuses. His ultimate does deal a lot of damage, yes, but it's also pretty easy to deal with in a game where both teams are on relatively even footing and you have a competent team composition. If you keep finding yourself on teams without assassins or sufficient initiation then, yeah, you're probably screwed. But that really wouldn't be Jhin's fault.

No, it really doesn't.

It should slow but it shouldnt be able to slow someone more than once. Thats ridiculous.

It would be useless without the slow. Also - Jhin is fine.

Learn how to dodge... look if you take ANYTHING out of Jhins kit... it will make him unplayable... its bad enough that hes a hard enough chamion to play. we dont need whiners protesting to nerf him. I mean he doesnt gain attack speed or Crit...

you know what happened to sejuani's ult not too long ago??? they super nerfed the slow from 90% to 30%. His ult is very strong, so i hope they follow suit and do not discriminate. i'd go as far to say that jhin's ult should not have a slow at all.

I think it does. It's harder to land than, say, Xerath's

Meh I can't find the speed of Jhin's ult listed anywhere. I was totally ready to do the math. Xerath, though, has a .5 second delay before his shots land... And I feel like Jhin's shots are faster.

Regardless, part of the problem with the slow is that if you get hit by one it's pretty hard to dodge any more. Xerath doesn't get any sort of reward for hitting his target. :(

I am definitely of the opinion that the slow is just an added bit of power that Jhin really doesn't need when you look at what he has in the rest of his kit (MS bonus, CC & slowing traps)

What it doesn't need are the exploding traps on kill. Thats just unfair in a hectic teamfight.

Good luck ever hitting anyone with it then.

Yes, it does. If it didn't, you would only get at most 2 hits on somebody before they left the ult cone.

If you think this is true, play the champion yourself and then say this. People would be getting out of your ultimate 24/7

Maybe a way to make it a bit more fair is to make it work like ashe arrow. The CC increases with range traveled. Gives a higher reward for snipes and lower reward for close range hits.

If they removed the slow they'd have to make it so fast the enemy could almost never dodge it through movement. There is a noticeable delay at long ranges which is hard enough to control as is. Also having a slow helps punish anyone who blocks it, since they will be slowed down. The slow adds power, but it also gates its power. The slow is short enough where by the time the other shot fires, it's worn off by the time the shot reaches the target. The speed and strength of slow have been tested to be at a good balance, give or take a few units.

I'm afraid you are wrong. In its current iteration, the slow doesn't wear off before you get hit a second time, if you get hit once, you get hit by all the following shots, unless you have some kind of dash or Jhin is touching himself between each shot.
