What are your guys's thoughts on infinitely stacking champions?

I understand that while games end early, I'm curious to your thoughts on infinitely stacking champions. I personally never had much problem with them aside from nasus, veigar, and cho'gath as the others stacking stats are by smaller amounts. with nasus if you leave him alone for the tiniest amount of time you'll lose top tower and soon enough the rest of your team. with veigar, you fight him, he gets stronger, you can't dodge everything. with cho'gath, while he can be kited by ranged, fighting him as melee can be infuriating once he starts to do massive damage with his ult.

Nasus kited. Sion kited. Cho kited even harder than the other two. Veigar pure cancer cause he can stack both by going tanky early and skirmishing wiht his high bases and afk farm and go glass. But hurr durr he is fine he can be abused early!!! Yeh if the veigar is completely bad at passive playing.

bulshit is what i think of them

I think they are a really interesting archetype for the game. While I'm not saying every champion should infinitely stack as that is NOT a good thing for the game, I never feel like I have LOST as a infinitely stacking champion. When you lose the game, you almost never feel like "Whelp, that was a game I couldn't have done much in," since almost all of them get power from ways outside of gold. If you play them effectively, you are VERY much actively rewarded. I think the game needs more ways of making players feel this way without the reward being "And since you played well, the enemy team is rendered useless." No, the reward should be "And since you played well, your character is actively growing stronger."

Bard Chogath Kindred Nasus Sion Veigar I never feel like I have lost when playing these champions. Thresh too, but to a lesser degree.

my thought is Garen needs to join them.

make his w passive like Thresh passive, where it has a diminishing return and stacks slower after 30 stacks (lets say at 0.1 armor/mr per cs), but keeps stacking infinitely.

i dont think infinite scaling belongs in lol because it gives them a mid game power spike not late game so isnt working as intended

Im fine with it, As long as they actually need late game gold and items to be ridiculous. Such as a gangplank or any ADC like twitch or tristana.

Cho'gath is fine.

Nasus is kinda weird because once he gets sheen he can really just dominate the lane with his ult and lifesteal and his stacks seem more of a bonus then a vital necessity for being a late game raid boss.

Veigar is in the same boat where once he hits 6 he kinda just one taps you with one landed E and is more of an assassin then a burst mage. If he is going to infinity stack. his early/mid should suffer he just gets the ap advantage at all points in the game because he is veigar where is the downside for being a scaling monster into late and also having a valuable E that is spammable pretty early seems really hard to prevent him from stacking and punish him early.

once he starts. buddy boy cho hurts all game. and yea I don't so much have a problem with their innate lack of ability to fall behind as they can be early game monsters in a not insignificant amount of matchups. nasus is actually known for his early trade powers because of his fuck you slow and cho just cho's down on people with a flash e q that you need infinite ping to dodge.

absolutely game breaking. They stack in all the wrong ways. Each one of them has a kit that shouldn't be the way it is. Veigar is the worst because he gets a huge stat buff and the stat buff that does disgusting damages to towers and synergises way too hard with his ulti. It is not a fun mechanic it is game breaking and crippling to the gameplay. Riot keep trying to cut games shorter but they keep these drag it out champs in the game. The fact that veigar can still instant kill you even if you build a solid 6 mr items is just wrong. That is a totally unhealthy mechanic not to mention his easy as chuff kit that over promotes tower camping. Riot need to nerf stacks heavily and rework these trashy kits. There shouldn't be a champ who presses r and 1 shots someone EVER and if they do it should be a huge cooldown not as long as it is and to be honest why should there be super tanky bastards who can also do disgusting levels of damage? That is what total game breaking is. If you get behind against one of those like nasus. They just build full tank items and still instant kill you with no way to outplay it. So no skill involved just don't fight them and sit around killing boring minions till someone helps you. So unhealthy for a game

I liked them better when we had infinitely stacking items to keep up with their infinitely stacking kits (rip Feral Flare). However, I don't generally see them as much of an issue since they still have their weaknesses (Nasus can still be kited in teamfights, Veigar has short range and is skillshot reliant, Cho Gath is easy to hit). However, they've all had points where they were unbearable, in particular due to their infinitely stacking power not being as easy to shut down (looking at Susan with Klepto and Coin earlier this season)

I'm abusing Cho right now in the jungle. It's ridiculous how easy it is to get back into a game where you get invaded on your redbuff and killed. All you have to do is farm, farm, farm, and before you know it, you're 2 levels ahead and have 4k health more than the enemy tank jungler.

Oh, and I abuse a build that often looks like this:

item 1401 item 3117 item 3748 item 3800 item 3742 item 3143

It's so broken I can't even explain it. He can duel a master yi at any point in the game. I switch out mobis for defensive boots in the lategame if I need to. Mobis are too good for getting to where you need to be, not to mention just running straight past a ward and not even care, because your ganks are so strong.

Most of the time, I end my games with 10 stacks of my ultimate, or 13-14 if I got really, really fed.
