Few weeks ago, I asked Riot Axes if Kindred are going to receive some buffs in the future. He replied that some changes are planned when the situation in the jungle will get more stable. So, is in in 7.3 cycle or later? And do You have any particular ideas about The Eternal Hunters' buffs?
Ben Sharpio1 voteshopefully they never reach the PBE, or live. Kindreds design is too toxic. You prevent her from getting her stacks and mid/late game she presses R randomly and wins the team fight.
Scopé1 votesCurrently, this champion doesn't really work as it should. Clear is awful and getting stacks is a pain cause you can't really duel kha, rengo, shaco, vi and most of the meta junglers right now. Even Riot employees see that. Here're the quotes:
They were faring pretty well before preseason - niche but pretty strong - but seem to have been hit pretty hard by the jungle changes. We'll likely do a balance pass on them once the jungle is a bit more stable (or sooner if that takes too long), and that might involve some small mechanics changes to get them feeling better about itemization or something like that, but I don't think we'd do any major work on their abilities in the near future.
I'm not saying Kindred is fine - I'm saying that I don't believe restructuring the kit is warranted. I think we can get them where they need to go with primarily tuning changes - numbers changes and small mechanical changes.
BrettTheHitman1 votesI love playing kindred, and she isn't toxic, her ULT saves enemies too, so it could lose the teamfight too, that isn't toxic but complexity. It's the same as bard's ULT, use it right and it can win games, use it wrong and you can lose games
