Don't try the Raptor camp unless you really want to counter-jungle

Raptor camp deals 2-3 times the damage old wraith camp did. It basically screws you over if you try it before level 6.

Go to golem camp instead. You get a nice smite buff (stun on n hits), less damage taken to your ass, and allows you to do red before having to go back and get items then choose to gank or further farm jungle.

It's perfectly clearable before 6.

For most junglers without heavy sustain or damage reduction, you'd want to start frog or golems > blue or red>wraith or wolves

and then back to buy your jungle item.

I've been testing clears all morning, if Akali and Wukong can survive golems>red>chickens to start, I think almost anyone can.

Most junglers can't gank after their initial clear.

They'll do the 3 camps I stated, then back to buy their smite upgrade, clear their remaining buff and gank afterwards if they can. At least that's the most efficient way I've found so far.

People like Pantheon, Elise , Fiddle, Nunu, those high sustain junglers can start buff>mini camp>buff like they used to and gank afterwards, but they're the minority.

And yes I smited red buff when I tested those clears, if you start purple side you would start out by smiting and killing the frog> blue buff> wolves > back to buy.

I usually start bot side for the leash. If you start off with the frog, smite it. If you start golems, save smite for red buff regen and ask for a smiteless leash.

If you play Skarner with utility masteries and a decent Krug leash you can do all 6 + gank with about 80% health.
