Is this ever a better option than thunderlords? Q applies it pretty well with it's multple ticks and if you do 
it's even better.
Obviously thunderlords is better for bursting people, but if you have a lot of CDR with wouldn't deafire be better for poke during seiges?
Maybe for mid lane Galio?
I mean literally everyone runes Thunderlords on Galio, some run CoC but most people do thunderlords, just thought maybe Deathfire might be an interesting option for poke Galio.

If you dont have 3 ap items your probably not getting enough out of the DFT because it relies on scalings much more than TLD. I didnt like full AP.

Yeah, been trying different AP setups mid... You can do a lot of burst and had some crazy games with it, but feels bad when your team is behind no matter how far ahead you are on galio because you get deleted since you are melee.
Definitely have to be at least somewhat tanky otherwise shit gets hard.
Been really liking the new Abyssal though on him. Still not sure how I feel about RoA and if it's worth building or not, but feel like is pretty solid on him.
