The Absolute State of League right now.

It's been a running joke for years that league is becoming league of dashes but I think it's passed meme status and is just a fact of life. Practically every champion has multiple dashes now, and the only thing that beats that is hard CC. But to keep up with power creep, you need dashes AND hard CC. And if you want to stand out above the champions that already have that stuff, you need MORE dashes. It's actually crazy looking at some of the newer releases, they don't even try to be creative with champion designs anymore. Chronologically...

Sylas - 2 dashes (potentially more with ults), hard CC, a heal, potentially more CC with stolen ults.

Qiyana - 2 dashes on short cooldowns, hard CC on a poke with assassin damage, and to top it off, a practically map wide stun attached to an AOE condemn.

Pyke - A dash (THAT STUNS YOU LOL), A stealth that speeds you up so much it may as well be a dash, hard CC poke, and an ult execute that doubles as a dash and also gives you like 9 billion gold per kill because he definitely needed that. Oh and btw if you somehow catch him with his 3 forms of mobility down and he doesn't kill you with his mountain of gold riot wanted to randomly give him, but you can't quite get the kill, don't worry, he'll passively heal it all right back in 3 seconds.

Neeko - AOE root and AOE stun and a stealth dash.

Aatrox - Another dasher with AOE hard CC. HE HAD TWO DASHES ON RELEASE LOL.

Akali - 3 Dashes in her kit (had a 4th dash with a stealth attached to it before they removed it lol)

Yuumi - Dashes, complete invincibility, neverending sustain, giant AOE root and a homing slow poke that would make Xerath cry.

Zoe - Dash, 3 second stun, and a poke that does as much as nidalees pre-rework spear that they took out because it was toxic. Oh and lets add some RNG free summoner spells too, fuck it.

Ornn - Dash, CC. Giant AOE CC ult.

Alright this is too much typing.... let's just go down the list chronologically until we get to someone without CC and some form of mobility (ignoring ADCs because they don't usually have hard CC)... Kayn Rakan Xayah Camille Ivern Kled

Annnnnnd.... here we are. Back in May of 2016. The last champion to be put in the game without some form of burst mobility and CC. Taliyah (even if she has crazy roam speed and CC so it barely even counts). That's almost 4 fucking years of dash CC champions. It's laughable how uncreative riot has become since Tencent purchased them.

League of Legends is in a state of power creep right now and there doesn't seem to be any breaks on the dash+CC train. You need CC to stop the dashes. You need dashes to dodge the CC. Eventually champions are just going to have CC and dashes on all 4 of their buttons and passive just to be able to keep up. Sure, we get ineffective anti-dash tools on champions nobody plays like Cassiopeia but that is almost a joke considering it's not even that good of an anti dash tool and no one wants to play her anyway. And short of a rework on all the offenders or them giving anti-dash tools to a TON of mages and supports and making tanks actually exist as a class again, I don't really see an end to this in sight.

But riot thinks that's fine. As long as it's not something toxic like the last champion with no dashes and barely any CC that needed to be reworked because he was "toxic" in the 0.0000000000000000001% of games he appeared in. Cause god forbid someone without a dash do well on people experienced with the champ. AurelionSol

No one plays cass yeah because she got nerfed at the start for being to good. Sol had more fucking mobility THIS MOST OF THOSE CHAMPIONS YOU LISTED. Like I don't think you even know what these champions do. It sounds like you just watch highlights and don't play.

Funny that you just ignore the fact THAT MOST OF THEM SHOULD HAVE DASHES!!!. Look at the classes of those champions and actually think. Assassins need a dash, and drivers need a dash.

Theres a difference between actual mobility like rakan and yasuo, and champs that have a 200 range mini-hop on a long cooldown like aatrox.

Not every champ is 100% immobile.
