Kat is forver broken

Every time i hop into a game of league and see an enemy Katarina, i get scared. Why? Because she is broken. Sure, her general build isnt tanky in any way, but her burst damage is so over-the-top, she melts any champion who doesnt have high hp and MR. It is my honest opinion that she is broken. With 1000+ damage in under 1 second, which usually kills off any ADC, then being able to almost immediately do it again if someone dies within 3 second, is at its best, ridiculous. Please Riot, fix Kat, she has been broken for far too long. Dont ignore the forever broken champions, its rather annoying

Instead of calling her broken and just pretending there's absolutely nothing you can do about her, why don't you learn the game?

Easy way to learn Katarina's weaknesses; play as her. As a bonus, play as her in Ranked queue. At some point, you will have a game where the enemy team knows exactly how to keep you from being effective. But even before that, you'll learn how her kit functions, which tells you how to play against her.

I know how to play against her, i just think its ridiculous she can almost always instant kill the adc, and if she can get away from the enemy for a moment, do alot of burst dmg all over again.

If she can instant-kill the carry, you have at least one of several problems.

Everyone meant to protect the carry is completely incompetent
No one on your team is trying to counter-initiate against Kat, or force her to jump away
Your carry is underfed and/or Katarina is fed
Your team was poorly composed and isn't capable of dealing with Katarina

And it might not be you; it could be other people on your team that are totally incompetent, even if the only consistent factor between games is you...I really fucking hate those eight words, just so you know; people telling me that I'm the only controllable factor whether I win or lose a game doesn't matter much in a team game.

But that's off topic. In any case, Katarina's damage is mostly in her ultimate, so if she's bursting carries instantly, that means that she's using about half of her damage against them. And, if you've played Kat at all, you would know that her basic spells deal low damage, even with AP, compared to her ultimate.
