So I play Kassadin alot and I want to know what is better to assasinate someone. Sometimes I cant land my auto attack when Im playing Lichbane Kassadin but when i play normal Kassadin (You get Roa and stuff then your q and e are your main abilities) I dont see that much burst.

I've been playing kassadin quite a bit lately and I would say roa. The extra mana allows you to stack your ult before you go in onto them for extra damage. Also it helps later in the game with the health it gives and it's 100 ap is a big deal. Tbh though I usually build both but always roa first
RoA INTO Lich Bane. Because its awesome to assassinate somebody, but its BETTER to survive it.
i prefer rushing Luden´s, more burst for killing and more ms/waveclear for roaming. an early sheen never hurts though, he has still close to the most base-ad in the game so the procc amplifies his w by a lot.
If you want to assasinate go for lich, but you gotta be carefull with your mana usage.
The build is ROA, cdr boots, Hourglass, LichBane, Void Staff, Death Cap
Rod of Ages, there's just no question about it. Kassadin is a MELEE champion with short ranged abilities, and has damage tied to his blink, how do you expect to get any of that damage off if you get blown up?
You can definitely get both though, but get RoA first. (zhonyas should be soon, even against AP midlaner its crucial to time zhonyas with your cooldowns for when one rotation isn't enough)
It sucks, but it's a necessary evil.
