Yea, I've been reading the PBE notes and those seem like pretty good choices as well due to his passthrough range on his Q and the range on his W being reduced, making you get closer and more into auto attack territory. Sound good! ~ruski

You should build ghostblade early and cleaver if you're against a somewhat squishy team or a team that has early tankiness because generally squishy people only have like 40-80 armor, so the penetration from ghostblade alone is already 50%-20% of your opponent's armor and then it also gives you more base damage than last whisper AND a speed and attack speed boost and a tanky team is generally very kitable which makes lucian viable against tanks with his dash. You get cleaver because it makes him a little bit more tanky to stand up to bursty targets when dueling and applies armor penetration very quickly due to his passive and gives him even more cooldowns for his dash, these items are generally just a big advantage mid game for lucian. Basically, this kit allows you to burst squishy target and shred tanks at the same time. And THEN on top of that, his ultimate applies the black cleaver too so even tanks take legitimate damage from his ultimate now. You basically do everything a Lucian does, burst and dash, but even more effectively.

You seem bias towards the shredding build. Which should also have a lastwhisper.. I'd just build what u need. If they have lots of tanks, go bc build, if they have squished go crit

armor pen build gives more early game damage. idk what the hell your talking about. armor crit lucian has less sustained damage. in theory. but the problem is that lucians passive along with his cooldowns make that somewhat non existent.
