AP assassins rush abyssal every game

Why does Riot refuse to address this. Your entire point of changing abyssal was to stop this from happening, but instead of just nerfing it, you give it cdr. Why. It makes no sense.

Whole point of changing abyssal was to give it cdr as there werent enough cdr options. I dont see anything wrong with building abyssal first especially on champs that arent mana starved but dont benefit from nashors tooth.

But they actually ended up making it so that everyone has too much CDR without wanting it, and people who actually want CDR can't really get it because there's now only one possible 20% CDR option.

It lost some AP to compensate for the CDR, in case you missed that part. It's rushed on most AP mids currently, because it gives MR, which helps you surviving against other APs. And in case you forgot: It was a first item rush even before the mage update, simply because of that.

He is saying they updated it because it was rushed...but the update didn't fix that.

Actually a lot of mid laners used to rush athene's. It was either athene's and get cdr and less mr, or abyssal and get a bit more mr and some pen.

Now the it's just rush abyssal no matter what, even if you don't need mr that bad. How is this a better state of itemization?
