Let's talk Triforce and Rageblade.

So preseason is here, triforce got nerfed to the point where adc's hardly build it anymore, and guinsoo's has taken its place for melee champions. Before guinsoo is nerfed a lot I would like to point out why I think it has taken the place of triforce and a possible solution to this. Skip the sections you don't care about:

Trifoce: Corki and other adc triforce users used it because while used spells a lot with only a few aa's in between. It also gave them a good midgame powerspike they could use to win the game. Now essence reaver is rushed on those champions due to the amount of cdr it gives. In the rare cases like ezreal who do not want essence reaver, then they typically don't want the crit but do want the ad and ap it gave. Bruisers on the other hand use most stats but typically rely on powerful on hit abilities or high base damages. This means that AS nerf, AD nerf, and possibly AP nerf hit them hard and the compensation is crit and cdr. Cdr is typically not extremely usefull in lane unless you go all in and the cdr means getting an extra rotation of spells off, while crit is the stat most bruiser scale worst with. Since riot seems to want to streamline items and make them in line with cost efficiency a good solution could be to streamline triforce more to casters who aa sometimes: drop the crit, increase AD possibly use recurve bow instead of seal (although I heard that triforce did not feel right without movespeed).

Rageblade: ADC got their essence reaver so I won't continue about them since the esence reaver seems somewhat natural for them right now and synergizes well with what they want. Toplane bruisers on the other hand are building rageblade now. With triforce being nerfed for the they use the new item which has the highest cost efficiency because they scale decently well of almost all stats and when rageblade gets nerfed they will just use the next most cost efficient item. So instead of being in a constant cycle of nerf and new item lets try to balance rageblade for them. While this item does synergize well with them, I don't think it reinforces what most of them want to do. In teamfight scenarios having to aa a tank 4 times before jumping the enemy backline feels awkward and not very in line with what a bruiser should do. The only reason this happens is to stack up rageblade since it is the most op item at the moment. Even the stats while good, are not very well used by any champion outside of kayle, and maybe poppy or jax. Sure irelia has ap scaling but not good ones, same goes for xin zhao who also uses rageblade. If riot wants to have rageblade back they should probably do so with a group of champions in mind. As it is now rageblade is almost good but it needs a few things to make it work. What about increasing the cost, introducing sheen as a compenent (to give less of a powerplay when just finishing it compared to someone who has its components) and make the aoe passive be permanent but weak without stacks, and then get stronger as it stacks to avoid a less binary pattern?

I dont think rageblade needs a buff, it is really strong on champions who do synergize well with it and those who dont as fully.

I would even say its broken in most cases and probably will be nerfed.

It gives you like 5-6000 gold of stats and waveclear after 4 melee autos and 8 ranged autos.

I mean I think Guinsoo has a large enough pool when you compare it to Manamune users.

I wouldn't call the Tri force changes a Nerf. decreased, AS and no AP, but CDR and a higher crit chance. That's basically everything anyone who would build tri force would want. Also it's not ADC exclusive, so it wouldn't be a nerf even if the ADC's had better (different) build options.
