Its BS Akali/kat deserved 0 nerfs. AD assassins didn't need em either. Now you got tp mid running rampant, dulling down the game and you Wonder why? This is why riot shouldn't listen to BOARDS qq threads ...

Fadedpf3 votesHis lane presence was gutted hard and there were Armor nerfs with still no compensation since then. Now top lane meta is bruisers and fighters with heavy anti tank counters in their kits such as Armor pen, True Damage, %HP damage and so on it is really hard to get anything off with Sion because of his nerfs, meta changing, armor nerfs AND his kit is already pretty easy to dodge with its counterplay and etc....

Kat is a little on the weak side, but is pretty decent throughout the game.
Zed is pretty good right now, I'd wait to buff him until marksman changes are done. BoRK might be getting changes.
Talon is a good snowball champion.
Diana is still a decent enough champion. I like her in the jungle.
Ekko was almost brought into Worlds as the standard safe mid laner, he has one low CD spell that wipes out a creep wave.
LeBlanc isn't that bad. She still has the ability to burst things away and can still escape from sticky situations. I don't really see what made her that much weaker.
Actually, I find Fizz on the weaker side, since he has shit waveclear and has no defense in lane (other than a lowering of basic attacks, which means nothing in mid) against most ranged mages. His only real chance to win lane is to all-in at Level 6 just as he gets ult, and hope he's at full health at that point. I guess he makes up for it with his late game, but he's still not that great.
Yasuo has a really good kit. I agree with you there.

Assassins DO NOT NEED BUFFED. Maybe Akali but that's it. No other assassin should be buffed for all the damage they do. Tired of all these Zed mains claiming Zed is weak or in a good spot when he shits on most mid laners, and practically can start 1 shotting you with his Q almost at level 5. Oh and using no mana while at it.

Shonjl1 votesErmm, idk about you, but Talon, Diana, Ekko are clearly still around. Katarina is an easymode champ so its good she got gutted. Zed is still viable just not easymode anymore with his get out of jail free ult, he still works if you are smart. Leblanc is out of meta but still works pretty damn well, people just don't use her for some reason.
If anything I feel they are balanced right now. The job of an Assassin is to kill high priority targets which they still can. Not teamfighting which they should be terrible at which in the past they could do better than people MEANT for teamfighting.

Whats wrong with a assassin that's ahead being able to stomp a game? Before i could take them into any gold below game, and expect to do well/have a impact later on in the game. Now, even if im fairly ahead, if my team isn't I cant do sh1t. If i picked akali and snowballed my lane. It was usually a sure win. Now it hardly is. Not everyone wants be utility and rely on others, some people just want to have fun and showcase their skill.

The Assassin Meta was the worst meta league ever had. Since then Riot has been making strides to make this more of a team game. Focusing objective control and diminishing the value of first blood were very important steps that redefined the game and undermined assassins. Relying on other players to make mistakes is not skill. And that is the definition of assassins. Look at shaco. Does anyone actually enjoy playing against him? Akali, katarina and zed were all similarly cancerous. I am not saying that assassins don't have a place, but they should not be meta. You don't learn anything getting 100% bursted. And you don't learn anything by 100% bursting either.

Shonjl1 votesBecause being able to 1v5 isn't fair or healthy for the game at all. Its one thing if you are insanely fed, like say a Yi by the 20 minute mark being at 10-15 kills and having 3+ full build items while most people have maybe 1. Its another when Zed just bought 2 longswords and can go bot and blow the adc up before they can react as well as take the support because he is bored.
Katarina was an even worse offender. At least Zed had to be kinda smart about how he worked. Kat literally was a faceroll champ and she would get kills. You literally just hop into the middle of people. Ult, then proceed to hop from person to person spamming every key you have. Katarina was the worst kind of toxic assassin in this game. No skill high impact.
