@RIOT: I would like to know, why ranged and Melee Champions gain the same benefits from runes.

Even though this goes for all the runes, just for this example lets use the runes from the Precision tree.

Lethal Tempo, Press the Attack and Fleet Footwork all offer the very same reward, no matter if you are a ranged or Melee character.

Yet Ranged Champions, especialy ADCs have a way easier time to activate them and to make use of them, and they are safer while using them. Dont you think that there should be a risk to reward ratio kept, so that Melee Champions actually get rewarded for having to be in the enemys face?

ADCs have already enough advantages in this game, maybe its time to treat every Champion fairly, even if hes not an ADC.

Thats a Pipe dream that this preseason was supposed to address

The system is going to see changes as time goes on. Generally melee champs want different things from ranged champs. They don't necessarily need to work differently to be balanced for both.

What advantage does an ADC like lets say Jinx has to someone like Renekton?

Ok, lets say both use "Lethal Tempo".

First Renekton has to go into melee range to get the benefit. Jinx can do it from far away using her rockets.

Now we have to wait 1.5 seconds. For these 1.5 Seconds, Renekton is already in range of EVERY enemy champion, so they can already fight back. Jinx however is still at range.

And now for the time it procs, lets talk about kiting. Renekton can be kited pretty easy, since he has to stay at his target, which does not allow him to dodge skillshots for example. Jinx however just has to stay in Range, while being able to dodge incoming Skillshots.

Then the point fo the Item Build. Renekton has to invest in Survival, Jinx can build full Damage, making her again benefit way more than Renekton from bonus Attack speed, but without really taking a bigger risk.

Well youre comparing apples to oranges,Lethal Tempo never was intended for a bruiser like Renekton, its like comparing Aftershock on Leona vs Sivir, she can't even proc it,let alone have any use for it,why doesnt anyone make a thread about it? Cause they understand, which you obv dont that masteries are made for certain classes, they're not designed to fit every champion in the game perfectly, and besides that, stop whining about ADCs being OP,they're designed to deal damage,80% of them are specifically designed to deal damage in a team fight, thats what they do,you're not here crying how Jinx is super tanky,or has insane burst,cc or is unkillable 1v1,no,she's not designed for that, she's designed to do damage in a team fight,i've seen more renekton/jax/kayn/rivens carry games than adcs frankly, cause without a good support you're not going to last very long against that malphite that just ulted you and proceeded to chase you down witha sunfire cape until he burns you alive

Yeah, I agree that a comparison between an ADC and someone like Master Yi, Jax or Tryndamere would be better.

But you dictated the Champions and I tried to explain using what I had at my disposal.

Just try playing any ADC that isnt Vayne top,and see what advantage you have vs Riven,Renekton,Kled etc...ADCs can deal damage, but they need a support to do it,and now people complain they're strong, when in reality its basically 2 champions syncing together into one

I believe Lethal Tempo is even better on those champs,Jax and Tryndamere have very high surviveability,Imagine Jax jumping on someone attacking and then waiting for lethal tempo to kick and then activating his dodge(he can attack while its active) thats literally 2 seconds of being invulnerable to auto attacks while lethal tempo is proccing, and then you still have a stun, while imagine caitlyn waiting 1.5 seconds to proc in which time its more than enough for someone to one shot her, seeing that she has no dodge, stun,or a 6 second invulnerability to death,so as you can see no,the adcs don't have any advantages to melee champions,i'll even say that they have a huge disadvantage, their only thing is that they can AA at Range, which is completely useless if you don't have a team in front of you acting as a wall to stop Jax from jumping on you with his Q that has more range than most ADCs basic attack range,so yeah,if we lower adc damage then the only one thing they're good at is literally gone
