I would like to hear your toughts on Jhin and how you feel about the new champ. I haven't heard much except he wouldn't see competitive play. C9 used him once and that went soso. What do you think?

He's really bad. He can't fulfill the ADC role because his ability to take towers and deal sustained damage is low. He can't fulfill the assassin role because he lacks mobility and escapes. His E is basically useless, his Q isn't far behind, and his W is ridiculously narrow for how lackluster it is (if it's going to be a hard skillshot, it needs more rewards).
There is not anything he does particularly better than anyone else and he has way too many weaknesses for his strengths to be meaningful.
He sucks. He doesn't do damage fast enough for the current meta. His Q doesn't really work in a fight. His W is really hard to hit. His E is useless for damage or slow because people can just walk out of it.
people dont understand how to use him is the problem and that ypou cant just pick him into anything and have it work. He is extremly utility based with high damge. I love him.I also dont pick him into ppl that can dive the heck outta me either. Have yet to lose a game with him. that being said ive also only ppicked him 3 times in pvp lol
But yeah he is good if people use him right
Passive:Shorten reload time by movement speed and 4% AD per 10% AS again instead of 2.5% per 10% AS.
E: Shorten the delay between activation and detonation by 0.5, increase the slow by 5%
After that he'd be great.
He lacks objective taking which is core for an adc to have.
He's squishy and easy to jump on more than any adc, which isn't a bad thing but he has no real strength over other adcs.
His traps are useless.
Those 2 changes would fix his only issues and improve his build diversity.
There are two main things that could help out Jhin a lot.
First is making it so that his Bouncing Grenade can apply the mark for his W. I really don't understand why this is not already the case, the only thing I can think of was that they thought it would be to powerful. Hitting an opponent on the last bounce feels nice but is honestly kind of underwhelming, being able to do a bounce chain into a flourish root would make everything so much better. Not to mention the style points would just go through the roof.
Secondly lower the detonation time of his trap, not a lot just a little. At the moment running straight through the slow field and still dodging the damage is doable by just about everyone even without boots. Id like to see it where slower champions would have to choose to back off to avoid the damage or run though and take the hit. Maybe its swiftness boots high prevalence that is making this feel weak but it is kind of disheartening how little people need to pay attention running through traps.
My problem with Jhin is the same I have with Fiora.
Their kits are well made, and could be use some tweaks here and there. Maybe some buffs here, some nerfs there. The ONE BIG problem I have is that I consider the "Guaranteed Crit" mechanic to be overall a horrible mechanic, and one that behaves in a toxic way in the kit, making it hard to really balance out everything else.
I just think is funny how some rioters have commented about crit being an unhealthy mechanic, some even comparing it to dodge, but then they come up with these kits that have a skill with a guaranteed crit.
I think he's pretty good. Needs a team to at least give him a little bit of safety to do his thing, but his kit feels good. They need to fix some bugs with his ult though, I've had a lot of shots go straight through people.

DAMAGE IS INSANE but his dps is way at the bottom, someone like jinx can quickly get the same damage out in half the time
I think jhin is a real douche IMO. Because in the champion info tab in game info he killed my favorite top layer and jungler.[zombie-nunu-tears]
