Most people say he doesn't need. But honestly, I still think he needs a bit more options when people get within his limits. No champion should be a walking minion when all of their abilities are up just because they got close, especially when his "one weakness" is extremely easy to exploit with a great many number of champions on the roster. ANYWAY.

My suggestion this time is to tweak his ult such that it has a small aoe around him. Basically a Gnar-meets-Lux ult. Damage and knockback from behind would be reduced, but enough cc that it gives you a slightly better fighting chance against hard counters like Fizz.
