How are new players expected to understand how jungling works?

Honestly, I had no idea how to jungle until I was around level 25. There aren't any tutorials or anything. I had to go to youtube and look up what it meant. Then you have jungle items. How is a new player supposed to know to build those items? How are they supposed to know to take smite?

Smite should also have a pseudo-execute to encourage using it to secure the kill. Something like "Deals X true damage to Monster, Minion, or Pet. Deals an additional X true damage if the unit is below 50% max HP."

Worst case scenario, they play for over 3 years without bothering to learn how to jungle. I obviously know how to jungle, I just don't know how to play a jungler. If that makes any sense.

The jungle can be a really hard source of income without runes and masteries. I found that most games before 30 didn't even have a jungler when I started league at the end of S2. Other than that, I don't feel that learning from others jungling or taking the matter into your own hands and doing research is necessarily an awful thing.

Don't worry, most of these changes will go through after being dumb downed for idiots or beginners. Everyday fleshed out to the point where there is one optimal thing to use and do
