Either the game is broken or you have removed the greatest thing in the game... is team builder gone and if so what were you thinking riot? the majority of people enjoyed not having to spam call or have seniority in pick order or chance what champion your playing because all of those are childish things... team builder brought organization to your game to where i could select exactly what champion i wanted and what role i wanted which was perfect... why would you remove this? Please put team builder back or if its a maintenance issue where its just not showing up then fix the issue. Fail!

They added dynamic que. go play draft. Calm down. It's literally the same thing,must prettier, you pick two roles you wanna go, and takes less time.

It isn't. Your right. It's better. I don't have to wait half a damn hour just to get a support. I can actually play the game, ban champs I don't feel like dealing with, and then play a role I felt like playing while not getting stuck with something I didn't.

Better or not, it isn't the same thing. If I wanted to play Vladimir mid only, I just went into teambuilder and gg, I didn't care about waiting time. Now I have the risk to play a role I don't want, why?

This is good for ranked. For casual and fun play it's utter shit

Not even, Honestly, if you wanted to play vlad, go top for mid, he can be played in both roles, if you want to play a specific champ, pick the roles he/she can be played in, using vlad as an example, mid or top. Almost every champion in the game can fit several roles.

It's not the point of playing multiple champs or multiple roles.

The point of TB was for people, like me, who are casual players, could play around with builds, champs, etc. at different roles OR we could practice those champs or roles without fear of being raged at for the entire game because we are trying different things or trying to get better at something that interests us, the casual gamer.

The "Dynamic Mode" is, without a shadow of a doubt, so much better than the old Draft mode. Not one single person disagrees with that. But, for the CASUAL PLAYER, it DOES NOT even compare to the quality of game and joy that TB brought. I think that's where a lot of this is getting lost in translation.

The fact is, TB was fun, it was enjoyable for those who played it. I played it exclusively with the random ARAM game in between to break the monotony of SR.

But, people, like me, who aren't that interested in spending most of my time (I might get 3 hours a day, if I'm lucky to play after work and all my husbandly/fatherly duties are done around the house) on spending more time in queue than the length of the game. The first time I played Draft, it took 3 hours to play 2 games that were /ff@20. Of those 2 games, I got my primary role/champ 0 times.

With TB, I was getting up to 6 games in the same time and in those 6 games, guess how many of those I got my primary role/champ?

It's not about casual gamers wanting to be pros or just bitching to bitch. It's about a significant part of the game that a huge part of this community really enjoyed. I know I miss it dearly, as every game I've played in "Dynamic Queue" has been a colossal cluster fuck, either the enemy team just face rolls, or my team face rolls. Never once has there been a game where I can say, "Holy shit, that was an amazing, exciting and entertaining game."

TB brought a quality to the game that I found joy in. Not everyone is a Bronze/Silver/Gold that's in denial about their placement. Some people really don't care about the pro scene or ranked scene. Some people just want to have a little fun, the way they want to have fun, without having to worry about getting raged at for playing something they want to play.

And i'm not hating on those people, trust me, I feel you there, I play some pretty dumb stuff from time to time (Built tham full ap once, my tongue lash was fucking hilarious) and while dynamic queue doesn't fit the wants of everyone, it did so for the majority, it helped the ranked, and normal players. Sure it's draft pick, but even with in the few days the new queue is out, I have had several people call draft normals and nothing else. They address it as though it was blind pick or TB. I fully understand that some people want to play the lane they want, but sometimes compromises need to be made in order for something better to come out of this. I know you haven't had the best experience with it, but Myself, and friends of mine have had just about the same amount of fun as we would've in TB. I guess I've just never been a fan of people who want one lane or position, and one only. People who aren't flexible I should say.

It's easy to be flexible when you have to be, like in Ranked. That's a given, everyone who's played ranked knows this.

But, when you're not really worried about ranked games, and just want to play some enjoyable games, or you want to try to master a champ or role (it's impossible against bots lol they are just too predictable), you want to do it against the human element. None of which can be accomplished in ranked/draft consistently. You might get your role 50% of the time, but then you might not get your champion 50% of that time (depending on other picks or bans.)

For instance, I suck terribly at ADC. I have serious positioning issues lol. But if I want to practice my ADC mechanics, I have to go into a game that I know isn't going to be my strong suit and is going to put my team at a severe disadvantage. With TB this was kind of expected and also most of the time people were pretty honest and open about the fact that they were "trying something or new."

Agreed and what people are missing is this...those of us that want it are NOT the ones complaining about queue times, I would wait as long as it took to insure I play the role I want. Admittedly that role is support but that is ALL I want to do, so I may never venture around in ranked I will still play vs in Team Builder, buy skins and pages (hundreds of dollars in already), stream the competitive leagues, etc...

I tried it by the way and 9 out of 10 times I got the back up role...the irony is support is supposedly a shortage yet 9 out of ten times someone else got it. Those times I had to leave and piss off people but had I tried another role I would have done mediocre or worse, and more likely, would have failed hard. I do not want to learn another role cause I have, and I do not enjoy them - I prefer feeding and watching my ADC hard carry a game cause they are fed.

It doesn't hurt anything to bring back, if it is unpopular it would be a server worth of space...and I bet the $$ off that server would pay for itself and net lotsa profits. If I can't play vs. humans in the role I love and enjoy (the reason I play the game) then I won't buy skins, watch matches, etc.... and they don't care...

My issue is Riot is getting like Blizzard...or Wal-Mart or any other company that thinks they are bigger than their 'customer'. That cancerous Ghost Crawler was leading that charge over there- he was here briefly I believe but now it's Lyte who responded to the complainers in the patch notes - let me para'quote':

If you're struggling, try finding some like-minded friends to rank up with....But seriously, find some friends and have fun! Good luck out there'

So you don't like this new format (this aimed at people having issues with the matches w 5 v crushing duo queues and such) - make some friends to queue with and the issue fixes itself.

This arrogance is the problem with the game. They rail on about toxicity then they create an environment where people have to play roles they don't want or perhaps can't...doesn't that just set it up for rage...?

Anyways Paragon comes out soon, went and signed up for Beta

In the new draft you don't have to fight for a specific role you can choose 2 you like. so this part is no longer an issue.

i think the face role happens because of this fast paced meta that we are in games will snowball hard for one team or another. the pros of the new draft over old team builder is

you can ban things (helps so much with some broken champs out there)
you aren't locked into a certain champion so you can adjust to make winning more likely with your team comp(example yasuo wombo combo comps)

the cons are

you can't get one role and one champ every game.
you can't dodge weird lobbies without punishment.

There are more for both sides but I'm lazy and dont want to type that much.

The removal of team builder took a significant amount of my enjoyment out of the game. So much so that I have decided not to give riot a dime of my money until they bring back some queue that allows me to play the champ and role I want to play. I suggest anyone who really wants riot to listen to do the same. Its really the only action that will force a response from riot.

I find none of the reasons riot gives for team builders removal credible. In fact from the riot comments I've read I get the impression they just wanted to force everyone to play with the shinny thing they made and not because team builder was some how negatively affecting the game. I freely admit I'm biased, but I keep picturing some three year old rioter throwing tantrum screaming, "But they have to play it my way!"

Dynamic queue, blind pick, and team builder all offer a different experience. Each has pros and cons to it.

Dynamic queue is much improved over the previous draft system.

Team builder guaranteed your champ and role with a greatly reduced level of stress. Now you got this with the possibility of a long queue time, but that was the trade off.

Blind pick gets you into the game the quickest way possible.

Those arguing against bringing back team builder really confuse me. Its not like team builder hurts the othe queues in a significant way. Some might argue that it makes the other queue times longer, but if thats true I highly doubt its significant. For myself personally I haven't played a single pvp game except one dynamic queue game since they removed team builder.

I am a highly casual player. I played maybe one solo pvp game a day. I want that game to be with the champ and role I want with as little stress as possible. By the way I'm a middle school teacher and anyone who has an issue with me wanting a less stressful game can die in a fire. I would love to see the data of where all the team builder players are queueing now. I suspect what you'll see is a significant rise in bot, aram, and blind pick games. Not everyone flocking to dynamic queue.

I am also not in favor of the removal of blind. I don't like blind pick myself, but there is no reason to remove it.

Riot has said they've got some new form of blind pick comming that uses the new system. If thats true why remove team builder until it was ready?
