died in first 30 seconds true dmg no escaping it... left the game... champion is unbeatable unless ranged... if its broke, fix it! this has been an issue since he was born and never fixed out of favoritism

By the sound of it, your first problem is not understanding how Darius functions. His only true damage is on his ult, which somehow I doubt he has in the first 30 seconds.
On that note, your second problem is engaging him that early: Darius is a lane bully. If you try to engage him that fast you're going to have a bad time.
Play safe and bother your jungler for ganks. His lack of escapes and speed steroids makes him particularly vulnerable to them.
They are nerfing him.
Nerf leavers.
