so ive spent allot of time in B5 ive recently gotten into B4 but im in elo hell so i only gain about 8-11 for a win and lose 20 for a loss about how many games do i have to play before my elo will normalize into B4 instead of staying B5?

guess again! if someone tanked their MMR early, even if it was 3 seasons ago, it takes about a 60%+ winrate over hundreds of games to undig that ditch
JAGMAG1 votesim not blaming elo hell? were did you even get that from im asking how long till my elo stops being in elo hell i have a 65% win rate over my last 20 games but a 46% win rate on the season so yeah im in elo hell but have recently been playing better my question was how long before the system realizes im playing better

Live2LetDie1 votesYour W/L is around 46%. From my experience you have to have 50% just to have even lp lose and gains. I'm at 53% and am gaining 26lp per win 14 per loss

meh im at like 51-52% and I lose 22 gain 14

Dakute1 votesIt's not exactly about W/L ratio although that does play a factor. More importantly it matters what level of players you're losing/winning against. If you're bronze 5 beating a team of bronze 2's then ur mmr (hidden elo) will rise quickly. If ur bronze 5 losing to bronze 5's then it's going to go down faster. Basically when u get to a point where u can stomp players around ur rank consistently then ur mmr will rise and put u up against higher ranked players. If u continuously beat them then ur mmr will go up and put u up against even higher ranked players and so on.
