She is at a 45.36% win rate in diamond after the latest nerfs. As of now she is only really succeeding while being played by someone with a good amount of experience and knowledge of the champion. She was overtuned at release, but now they are just gutting her down to the point where she is not viable for anyone who doesn't main her or is extremely good at the champion.

Now ive been reading up that they are mini reworking her kit. Removing one of the most unique parts of her kit aka her bubble trap.

Way to go Riot.

I don't care how much they nerf the trap as long as they keep it. Cut the duration in half, make it not deal as much damage, make it smaller, whatever, I just want to keep the seagulls effects and stuff from the skin I paid for.

It hurts to see them keep kicking her while she's down. The patch before this her winrate had already dropped 3% in plat+ and now in this patch it dropped another 3%. It's like now that they got all the money from the pool party skin they've decided to just gut her and make her a worse version of lux.

Look, out of all the things they are about to do to Zoe the most infuriating thing is removing the e trap for a lot of reasons but rn it's primarily because that means the seagull/ocean animation will be gone which was the thing that pulled me over into buying pool party Zoe and if they do this every single person who purchased pp zoe should get a $5 credit (or a full refund credit) because you basically wasted my fucking money because you want to cater to people who REFUSE to play champs who counter her or REFUSE to work around her and no matter what you do to her they will always hate? okay lmao.

Maybe they should just extend the base range and not have it go 30 miles over walls? That's what people talk about mostly Riot listens a lot to the community

Zoe is another in a long line of champions who get balanced around LCS - being overnerfed because of top 0.0001% being able to (ab)use her kit to its fullest.

And yes, I am aware of how she is universally hated. But with all the other abominations infesting midlane I'm almost crying tears of joy when my lane opponent is Zoe instead of Zed, Yasuo, Fizz or LB because: 1.) I can actually dodge Zoe's damage. She doesn't land bubble, she doesn't kill me. 2.) If she messes up, I can punish her because she can't blink half a screen away in an instant or put up a giant "fuck you" wall.

While far from being an example of a healthy champion, Zoe is by far the lesser of evils currently.

bubble stays ages after you miss it, but the design of the champion is abysmal in general. you either have a champion in a state where if you shift power off the skill shots and zoe players can literally miss everything and still kill people with w and passive, or you put the majority of the power on skillshots and she gets to use her entire kit to 1 shot off of only hitting 1 ability. the other alternative option is to have her be under powered so she can do neither which means she's not viable.

I hope she's forgotten about and shoved into a pit until her eventual rework long with ryze. releasing her has a champion was a huge mistake.

The only thing they need to change is her W and passive if they want to listen to the complainers, I think she's fine as she is. I wouldn't even mind that the E must hit a champ or it will disappear after 1 second. (or something like that)

Riot stated that this leak was way too early, so they propably wont change it as the leak says.

And even IF they changed it... "uniqueness" shouldn't be a bigger priority than balance/ player experience Might as well give Kassadin the silence back and let him ult with a range of 800 again because it's "unique" Might as well let jax dodge everything again including your fountain because it's "unique"

Doesn't matter if it's unique, if it is a problem in needs to be fixed or removed.

She's gettinf a rework tho. I am not exactly a fond of her E not landing a trap on the floor, it was fine as it was ever since they added a time delay between E casting and E forming a trap + additional spell's travel time. Now her E is just a cheap "unrecastable lower damage but with CC" version of her Q.

Blame CertainlyT for giving her an out-of-class ability without thinking it through. As soon as you hear CertainlyT works on a champion you should be expecting a rework coming down the pipe because his designs are always unhealthy.
