And so can anyone that can go untargetable and/or invulnerable. Vlad can do the same thing with W, Zhonyas can do that, Zed can negate Syndra's R, Ekko, Bard etc. It's called counterplay, unfortunate? Sure for the person playing Syndra, but there's counters for a lot of things. Atleast you weren't playing Zed vs. Vlad, come back to me and let me know how that lane went.

''counterplay''

Pressing a button isnt counterplay.

Actually it is because every action in the game can be boiled down to either 'pressing a button' or 'clicking your mouse'.

So yeh.

Nocturne Sivir Have a 1 button counterplay spellshield

Karthus Soraka have a 1 button counterplay to each other.

Zhonya's Hourglass has a ninety second cooldown and cost over three thousand gold. Those other abilities, you may notice, are **ultimates ** or chunk your health down anyway.

Elise , Fizz , Jax , Morgana , Nocturne , Pantheon , Sivir , and Vladimir all have non-ult invulnerability skills of varying degrees that are not tied to their ultimates. It is true that Vlad and Fizz have the best ones, but they still have them. Frankly, without the invulnerability on his E Fizz would be close to useless as a champion.

It's not broken; it's just part of the game. There are plenty of ways to force him to use his E or punish him for wasting it. If you have a champ like Syndra that doesn't have hard cc you can play passively and freeze the lane close to tower until you get a gank or transition out of the laning phase. It's not like that Fizz can E out of all of your poke damage; it would be way too costly mana-wise and his cd is rather long on it early. Just poke him more and trade with him less.

But that's false. Flat-out false. You can't change what terms mean and engage in arguments of false equivocation, that's simply wrong.

There is a discussion to be had about Fizz's E. Abnegates can't dismiss it like that.

How in the world is that false? All of them have options for becoming invulnerable to damage with skills that are not ults. It may not be every form of damage, but it is still invulnerability of varying degrees.

If you want to only include those that become invulnerable to **all **forms of damage, then you can still include Elise , Fizz , and Vladimir . All three of them have non-ult skills that make them untargetable by any form of damaging effect, which is indeed the equivalent of invulnerability in gameplay mechanics because they serve the same function.

And don't sit there and tell me that I can't dismiss your statement when you provide no supporting argument while trying to dismiss mine. At least I have reasoning to back up my logic. If you can't define those skills as an equivalent to invulnerability gameplay-wise, you need to check your definitions and try again.

poke him, and bait his E.

Fizz is designed to counter long range telegraphed mages like Syndra.

Her R is programmed to be a targeted projectile, like an autoattack. It's a shame because it pretty much functions like Heimer's RW, except that if Fizz dodges it, Heim's won't be useless.

TECHNICALLY Syndra can still Scatter the Weak her ult after the orbs hit the ground, but that's really not the purpose. It just stinks to face Fizz. But she wins lanes pretty easy regardless.

what is a counter?

I'm sorry that you can't wait for his E to go on cool down before ulting him. I mean, damn Fizz E can avoid Nid spear, Lux ult, Ez ult, Jinx Ult, Ashe ult, Hec ult, Karth ult, and everything else. Dan poor syndra :(

i vote his e doesnt dodge my damage moves as well :P

I don't have a problem with his E negating it. It is his primary escape and he loses a strong source of damage in the process. Plus it costs mana. Unlike Yasuo who not just escapes but completely invalidates.

Riot specifically patched this in last season. Her R use to continue to hurt him before that.
