Yasuo is balanced
There's never been a point where I've watched a Vayne, Kai'sa, or Lucian play and go "Wow that was clean. Well played!" Because all they really have to do is press their buttons and move right click. It doesn't strike me as skillful gameplay, it's not a vanilla WoW hunter kiting, more like playing a champion as intended.
However, I feel like Yasuo on the other hand is a very skill orientated champion. It's only natural that his abilities take more responsive, intelligent, quick-triggered, and strategic knowledge to play. First of all, he's a melee champion. His Q has the range of a Thresh auto at best. His tornadoes are extremely hard to hit as they have one of the thinnest hitboxes in the game. On top of that, his dashing ability is heavily reliant on creep waves and enemy positioning. Most ADCs with dashes can just brainlessly just mash their dash button but Yasuo has to think about where his end goal is and how to reach his desired position. His passive, while at first glance, seems completely broken just isn't. It allows him to actually be playable because without either his shield or double crit, he'd be absolutely gutter garbage. His windwall, while powerful, is on a long cooldown and it MUST be used strategically otherwise Yasuo becomes an easy target for ranged champions. His ultimate requires strategic planning from both himself and his party in order to be effective. A poor Yasuo ultimate will accomplish nothing but feed opponents.
But you might say his damage is so high, why is he allowed to one-shot squishies? Well have you ever been struck with a katana, the most perfect weapon in human history ever developed, capable of SHATTERING european claymores and armor? Yeah I thought so. Aside from being literally the hardest champion to play, it only makes sense that a squishy melee carry like Yasuo should outdamage ranged ADCs quite a bit considering that he has to give up the safety of range in order to deal damage.
In conclusion, Yasuo is a high risk, high reward champion that is currently perfectly balanced (just like a katana). If anything, I'd say he might need a couple number adjustments to buff his survivability. Thanks for reading.
