[Gameplay] An Indirect Buff to Junglers
I had an idea that helps junglers out keeping up with their laner counterparts. I had thoughts about suggesting nerfing the current jungle or new items or what, but I thought "wouldn't that just give top tier junglers more strength?", and so my final idea was an indirect buff for junglers which can even benefit the people who sacrifice the first few precious CS for leashing. Reduce the time that it takes for the jungle monsters to spawn. Currently, jungle monsters spawn at 1:55, causing those who leash to fall a few CS behind their opponents (granted that their lane opponent isn't leashing) and it also causes junglers to fall behind in terms of experience and gold, which also discourages early ganks (unless you're a Lee Sin).
My Idea: How about we lower the time that the jungle monsters spawn? From 1:55 to say 1:40? This would allow junglers to stay on par with laners in terms of experience gain and allow laners to safely leash without being at a major disadvantage. Junglers would be encouraged to gank as they may be a level ahead of their laner counterparts so going for an early gank would not cause them to fall behind as much. I can see this may cause some problems with already top tier junglers (namely
) as they would quickly gain level advantages due to their high clear times. Despite this, I think the pros outweigh the cons in this situation and would benefit more than it would hurt.
Short Summary:
- More exp for junglers
- Leashers wouldn't be at a disadvantage
- Ganks would be sooner (more #LCSBIGFLASHYPLAYS for you Riot)
- Junglers would be able to clear and survive the jungler better due to sooner levels = increased stats = better clear times and ganks
