Honestly Riot, please bring back the old lore. Ever since Azir came out and changed the lore, it's just been bad. Why would you ever change a characters lore to be LESS detailed than it used to be? What's the point of reducing the quality? The lore that got changed was so good, it gave us a connection to the characters we play, and now they are simple overviews, nothing with any meaning. Because the old Lore was so amazing that it needs saving. Sure, Riot has, is, and seems to be willing to continue to drop the ball with the new lore, but don't pretend that the old lore had anywhere to go but downhill.

I really liked the old lore, and yes, it had it's problems and overlaps but still, it was nice. However, I believe the new lore is going to tie in well once they get a decent writer in there. Pssssttt, I can do it! PM me, Riot, gimme a theme and I'll run with it.

The old lore was unbelievably badly written. It was like they just had a couple of dudes writing fanfiction about LoL instead of anything like a cohesive world being built. Character's actions were devoid of consequences, and the league judgments were astonishingly cringe-worthy. I think the only justifiable reason for people being mad is lack of communication on Riot's part with regards to where they're taking things.
