Just admit it, veigar needs nerfs

"oh, but he has low mobility" "oh he has no escape" wrong, and with boots/flash, anyone can have mobility, asides, theres plenty of champs without mobility as for escape, there's his stun he mainly needs nerfs to his scaling, cause even if you win lane against him, come mid game or even some what earl,y he'll still beat you in a fight if he lands that stun, sure, you can dodge, but come late game, a point blank q is gonna chunk you for half health then deal 1k+ damage with his ult that cant miss yes, this is a salty rant post, but veigar in all honesty needs nerfs, mainly to his scaling btw his w hitbox needs some fixing, it's too deceiving. your thoughts?

edit: hooray! a salty post bout a champ of mine actually got upvoted :D also execute ults, i don't mind them when they're close range, but otherwise, they kinda hold you hostage if you're near half health

edit #2: also he does massive damage to turrets(i mean, everyone does, but this) and if he got a lichbane/nashors, his aa's would be massive

ive been saying veigar needs nerfs for 2 seasons now and nobody ever realizes how much of a joke he is.

fight-changing 2 second stun every 5 seconds and 3 abilities that can literally one shot anybody who's not a tank that are hard to dodge

the best part is when he uses his stun as a fucking jarvan/camille ult to hold you hostage when you dont have flash.

you dont have flash because he used his stun to hold you hostage.

What I hate is how his stun is a skill shot that doesn't have to be landed to be useful. As long as you put it in the general direction of your target, it's large area is enough to be useful.

He's a short range skillshot reliant mage with an incredibly weak and mana reliant early game. He's only extremely strong lategame and even then he's still limited by 45% CDR. Unless he has 1k AP, he's not going to be killing you without his W. To hit his W, you must be stunned. End the game before 30 mins and you'll be alright.

His abilities aren't too hard to dodge. His W is the generic fall from the sky skillshot. Even Xerath's is harder to dodge than that since it has such a long casting time. His q, is the normal skillshot thing. If you can dodge Ahri's Q, Orianna Q, Ryze Q, you can dodge Veigar's Q. His ult will never 100-0 anyone unless he has some 2000 AP.

item 3157 item 3102 Yes, I know everyone says build banshees but it's actually such a good counter to him. If he engages with his stun, it won't land. If he engages with his q, it'll miss and he's missing out on a lot of his damage.

Something good to know when laning against him, are his cooldowns. Also Annie has a point and click stun and an AOE nuke stun. She's going to 100-0 anyone throughout the entire game, and her ult is on a low cooldown so she'll almost always have it. If you want to complain about Veigar, complain about Annie too.

do you have to be stunned when he has a point and click ultimate that effectively zones people from important fights?

Also, how hard is it for the jungler to do a level 3 gank? Answer: not hard.

No, but

Unless he has 1k AP, he's not going to be killing you without his W.

Are you fighting with low health?

His ult will never 100-0 anyone unless he has some 2000 AP.

It won't be enough to actually kill you

Also, how hard is it for the jungler to do a level 3 gank? Answer: not hard.

by the time the jg is lvl 3, veigs lvl 4-5, same goes for every midlaner

I mained Veigar before the rework on my way to 30. I will say that he absolutely DOES NOT need a nerf. I think he's pretty well balanced now as he was weak before. If you're too stupid or don't know to build item 3140 against him then yeah, you deserve to cry. I think there are tons of other mages, specifically support mages who need nerfs before him, specifically, to their overloaded/broken kits: Janna Orianna Morgana

Explain to me how any of those champs are broken or even close to overloaded. Im stating to question if your even know what those buzzterms mean.

what? you thought an infinitely scaling AP mage with a point and click Execute and a Jarvan ulti that lasts 4 seconds and stuns you for 3 if you touch the edge and blocks all mobility passing through it wasn't OP?

Literally my only adequate response to seeing someone pick the fucker is to play Leblanc and utterly roflstomp him in lane so hard that he tilts and the enemy team surrenders, as even if I do destroy him, all he needs is press E in our general direction to provide more zoning and CC than most champion ultimates on a basic ability, and make said Leblanc who originally was dumpstering him utterly helpless freelo.

Been saying this shit about him since forever but none would listen.

Do that ;D But compensate him. Make his E instant again (but with longer CD).

Well... if he gets nashor... then he should not be a problem for you. Else? Well, thats the game, every mage can do that. (maybe 20-30% less damage, because of stacks but still)
