@Riot Why don't SR bots get the same ridiculous amounts of gold as the TT bots?
So I was browsing through my friend's match history and noticed the bots on the TT Co-op vs. AI get a huge gold lead, generally making them a lot tougher since they get full build relatively fast.
Noticing this now though, I can't help but to wonder why the SR bots in Co-op vs. AI still earn gold the same degree as the players do? They're bots, so they're not farming well nor getting kills, so all 5 Summoner's Rift bots fall off insanely fast.
Now, bots will always be bots, but the Twisted Treeline bots can at least give you some trouble if you're simply not playing the best. I could literally be falling asleep while playing against Summoner's Rift bots though and win even if feeding somehow, they're so weak.
Here are just two matches to show the comparison: Summoner's Rift bots: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2318649670/44215339?tab=overview Twisted Treeline bots: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2318031028/44215339?tab=overview
Obviously my teammates and I won both games yet the bots have a huge gold lead over us in the Twisted Treeline game. So I am really curious why the more played Co-op vs. AI mode provides that much less entertainment? Bots won't ever be as good as human players, but at least allowing them to build some would make the bots that much more fun to play against.
I understand Co-op vs AI is consider for beginners but there are tons of us with computer problems or who simply aren't in the mood for PvP at the time who play Co-op vs AI frequently for IP still. Intermediate bots barely can do anything more than an intro bot after roughly 10 minutes in. Keeping intermediate bots where they are for beginning players to League is a fine idea, but perhaps then a new difficulty could be made where the bots can at least keep up with players in gold so they can at least still build properly as the game goes on.
