Suggestion to make FPS pingable. (Much like how MS is pingable currently.)

Recently my main computer broken; video card fried and while I'm working on replacing it, I have been playing League on an old laptop of mine. The laptop I've been using for the past little while now is rain damaged and has a few various problems, and while playing League is a bit difficult it is still playable, but my main concern comes in whenever I have an FPS drop for a tad and have no way of indicating that to my team unless I type a message in chat. The problem with typing a message in chat is, not only the most likely of teammates not believing me, but there is also the possibility of the teammates who mute everyone at the start of the game or other various reason.

I do understand FPS isn't nearly a concern for probably, 90% if not more players on League of Legends, but for having a ping system already made, I think adding the option of pinging FPS would be a great add on for slower spec players. (Especially with the official launch of the Alpha Client coming soon, I think this would be a great addition.) Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Why not just start the game saying "I'm playing on a temporary computer, my FPS might die occasionally"?

If the laptop regularly has dramatic FPS drops then I'd say it's probably not up to playing the game.

They should let people ping it. They should also monitor it and if the same person keeps pinging high then put them into LPQ. If you find the need to continuously ping your bullshit system instead of fixing it then you need to be punished. I always report people who ping high as AFK. If they are frequently doing this then the chat log should be automatically set to send their ass to LPQ.

...make FPS pingable.

Gives opportunities to show off. I like the idea. Been wanting it myself for some time. Upvoted.

And if they could make a packet loss testing option available before even queing up first, that'd be even better.

I don't understand what would be the benefit. Pinging high ms can have negative influence on the team morale, now you would like to include low fps too? What would be next? Ping "Oh, I got fb message, I will be afk for a while!"? If the game is playable for you, you surely don't need to report your current fps. If it isn't, you shouldn't be playing in the first place.

You should not be playing if you need to be able to ping your FPS spikes, just sayin. Iv'e had "that guy" on my team way too many times where they were lagging or stating they had FPS problems, well why the fuck are you playing then? You know your putting your team at a instant disadvantage so why do it?

You should wait before you repair your computer, or get a new one. Do not play ranked if you know your specs are not optimal and will lower your performance significantly.

It's okay if you play with high latency, because you may spike in middle of a game, even though your ping was fine last game. It is out of your control. But if you decide to play using a faulty device, you are purposely putting your team at a disadvantage.

If your fps is a problem, you shouldn't be playing team PvP games. Play minesweeper like a person who isn't a jerk.
