Hello, I play a lot of twisted fate but I don't really have any other people than LeBlanc, Talon, or Zed to pick when I'm against another assassin. Usually when I go assassin vs assassin, I do pretty bad. Who are some good mid laners to counter these assassins? Thanks in advanced!

since by the time assassins can burst her she she can burst them.
Lycra1 votesTanks counter assassins. The tank ekko build is a suggestion. Sterak's gage is an item that you might want to get depending on who you're playing. Additionally Zed's ult completely denies all burst while he bursts you, so he's guaranteed to get his burst off before you, making him more effective against other assassins in the mid lane. Kassadin counters pretty much all AP assassins once he hits 6 because of his passive.

moonfall mommy1 votesI agree but also dont agree with Lux, Lux looses all of her potential to one shot when someone gets up in her face because she usually dies instantly, but if you can keep them at range to hit some nice q's thats where I'd say Lux is a 'counter' to assasins. (unless they build Hexdrinker)

If you aren't opposed to more non-meta picks, a great deal of fighter handle assassins quite well. The following have an easier time adapting to the mid-lane than some of their alternatives due to their poke, sustain, mobility and/or roaming potential.

MrBuffington1 votes his sustain is really good; he's really difficult to poke down into kill range plus he gets too tanky to one-shot (unless the other assassin is very ahead). His silence also messes up assassins.
