Some Clarification Questions About the New Keystones

Just some questions about how the new keystones will interact or other small things, these are not meant to be balance suggestions or feedback.

#Precision Press the Attack

  • If the user is given endlessly stacking AD, why does the visual indicator seem to have a clear completion point? Does AD still stack after that point and the visual stops moving?

#Domination Electrocute

  • Will ability-autoattack combinations still apply two stacks of this keystone like they did for TLD in the past (ex: Passive empowered Kha'Zix auto)? Predator
  • Is this keystone activated with a button press or click, or will it automatically activate once it comes off of cooldown? Dark Harvest
  • Are souls expelled and lost after used for an empowered hit, or do they persist for the entire game stacking?

#Inspiration Glacial Augment

  • Can this keystone only be used via auto attack from melee auto attacks, or do ranged autos also work?
  • Can skill shot based item actives (Protobelt, Titanic Hydra) also trigger the "freeze ray"?
  • Is the "freeze ray" a travel time ability that can be flashed out of before it applies damage slow?
  • Does the "per unit cooldown" mean that the cooldown of the slow is shorter if more enemies are hit? Does this only apply to champions, or are minions counted? Summoner Specialist
  • It seems that the cooldown of the previous spell directly carries on to the next spell. Does this also work for changes from a low cooldown spell (smite) to a high one (flash)?

#That's all for now, if I find any other clarity issues with the smaller keystones I will edit and post them, but these are just the questions that came to mind once I glossed over the new keystones. Thanks to anyone who can give a definitive answer!

Press the Attack

Idk about this, but I know that it'll keep stacking after since it does say infinite stacking. Don't know about the indicator tho, I assume the icons will change color or something.

Electrocute

  • Will ability-autoattack combinations still apply two stacks of this keystone like they did for TLD in the past (ex: Passive empowered Kha'Zix auto)?

I believe that on a stream they confirmed that this wouldn't be the case when they discussed that lux E-Auto combo proced tld but Varus Auto-Q combo did not (i believe this is correct but I don't exactly remember) and that they wanted to normalize it for the new system by making cases like these always work as just one auto-attack in the combo.

Predator

  • Is this keystone activated with a button press or click, or will it automatically activate once it comes off of cooldown?

It's an active that goes on your boots, meaning that if you don't have boots, you don't get this ability.

Dark Harvest

  • Are souls expelled and lost after used for an empowered hit, or do they persist for the entire game stacking?

Don't quote me on this, but I'd assume that they do get expelled. It'd be really strong if they weren't but currently this rune is looking fairly weak so idk.

Glacial Augment

  • Can this keystone only be used via auto attack from melee auto attacks, or do ranged autos also work?

Both melee and ranged autos work. Ranged autos get a weaker effect though (25%-40% as opposed to 35%-50% on melees.)

  • Can skill shot based item actives (Protobelt, Titanic Hydra) also trigger the "freeze ray"?

Only if the item slows.

  • Is the "freeze ray" a travel time ability that can be flashed out of before it applies damage?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that the freeze ray does no damage at all, and instead leaves behind a slow field below the champion in a straight line. I'd recommend watching the video about this keystone on riot's official reveal page.

No. Think like when a Yasuo dashes through a minion, that minion doesn't let yasuo dash through again until the timer on the minion runs out, but Yasuo can dash through a different minion with no penalty. It works the same here.

Summoner Specialist

I don't know but I'd assume yes. I can't say definetly though, you'd have to get a rioter to tell you.
