trying to play this champ and he feels so limited/gutted, i bet he used to be 'op' then Rito nerfed this champ to the ground, will be looking for a nother mid champ to play with because i feel with Azir u need to be Bjergson to pull him off in lane

Yeah, his E use to be a knock up, his Q use to do way more damage, he got a movement speed nerf, he use to get attack speed based off the amount of CDR he had but they moved that to his W instead.

Yeah he's horrible atm. I see nothing but people fail and feed with him unfortunately.

I totally agree I do enjoy Azir but he feels very weak at the moment. The Ruler of Shurima needs a buff. Let's fix him Riot, I spent a lot of points on him, don't let him become another champion that fades in to the roster with Poppy & Urgot.

I think Azir is at a decent state If you can get past his laning phase now and scale well Into the mid to late game scenario. The nerfs they did to him were entirely non-damage related so he still has that tremendous burst damage It's just that he's a lot more weak during lane.

i think his power might have something to do with him scaling so heavily off of ap and attack speed, however there is only one item in the game that gives both of those stats, and every other attack speed item comes with a bunch of other stuff he doesn't need, like crit. before when the q scaled better with ap that was fine, and before he got A.S from is passive, but now the attack speed is more important than ever with out the stacking q dmg, and there is only one item to fill that spot. obviously we can't add a bunch of of ap and as items because azir isn't the only champ who scales with those-but i think a significant portion of the issue revolves around itimization
