Might I suggest trying to take her out of bot lane and try her as a mid lane roamer? Her damage is pretty decent early/mid game and her ult makes her the best roamer in the game. Give it a shot! You might find some new success.

This makes sense... Quinn the mid lane champion.

tried it already and severely failed :/, what's the point of roaming if i cant duel anyone, tried 1v1 jinx and she killed me, tried running and i get hit by long range skill shots, the channeling is so bad near fights it's almost useless, roaming is fun until i have to fight a champion so the only way this works is team battles but it just doesent feel right, you gotta be able to duel people, something this champ just cant do w/o blind, i dont think you get the point of my posts is that BLIND is essential to her kit, w/o she's useless

So I agree that her dueling is much weaker than her old state. However her new ult isn't really meant to be used mid fight, it is supposed to make the fight uneven. With her ult she can make a 2v2 a 3v2 because she gets there so much quicker. Her wave clear is pretty decent as well. If you focus on not dueling everyone and just try to roam around and create uneven fights you might find more success.

As always all the feedback is helpful and during preseason there is gonna be a lot of tuning going on.

well i hope you can buff her stats so she can compete because i would never think of ruining peoples games in ranked by picking Quinn into Lucian Jinx Kalista Kindred Graves Draven Caitlyn KogMaw Vayne , the harassing and verbal abuse makes me want to quit playing this game.

No...you'll pick her against Yasuo cause midlane.

Kalista was weak before and now has her itemisation ruined. Please.

So she's better off being a mid laner. If she specialize in roaming then it should be mid and jungle. Kappa

I think the way to play her is as a in and out fighter. You want to try and fight them when your whole burst is ready, and buzz out when it's down (at least in the early/mid game). Being a roamer helps her a lot because she should have enough burst with her allies to 100-0 someone.

disregardable6 votes

Every mid laner already does that, in addition to having their own unique playstyles and skillsets...She doesn't even feel like she roams any faster than any other mid laner.

She doesn't. They slowed Valor's flight. When she is flying it's only at about 563 with Berserker's greaves. (give or take a few points there.)

'Remember that thing you really enjoyed about Quinn? She's bad at that now. Instead, try this completely unrelated thing!'

Rip my super niche split pushing/assassin/duelist/ranged/bruiser. She was unique before now she just seems like a significantly worse Sivir

Zair Umbras1 votes

She was a ranged Tryndamere.

So... I've actually had HUGE success with her 1v1. Triforce is a beast on her, as is cdr like Essence Reaver. It makes her and Valor the unstoppable combo duo. It's actually kind of ridiculous.

Fixed. Valor is nothing but particle effects and a taxi now. No longer part of the champion.

GhastlyGhoulMan2 votes

Eh I'd have to disagree, just because you don't transform into Valor (which as fun as it was I always thought was kind of weird tbh, like where the heck did Quinn go?) doesn't mean he isn't part of the champion. The whole point of Quinn now is weaving attacks between you and Valor, instead of waiting impatiently for him to mark someone with Harrier. There's a lot more control now on when it comes up, at least from what I've found.

I'd compare it to Kindred, where I feel Wolf is still an integral part of the team, even if you never turn into him. Of course, if you also don't consider that part of Kindred's champion then we're probably just gonna have to agree to disagree on what makes something part of a champion.

Flemman5 votes

the ult will be great if, after a succes cast, you had a 1/2 second of immunity to "enemy damage make it go"

2 second cast is kinda long, it basicaly give 2 second to the opponent to roam toward the fight before you (and/or cast a long range skill shot behind him to just "nope" you) it doesn't really feel like a ult atm, more like a flying version of rammus Q

Ch0c0lateJesus8 votes

So basically you turned a ranged assassin/dualist into a roaming wimp that needs and "uneven" fight to come out on top.

How about turning LeeSin into a support champ, or Vayne into a pure tank?

Riot preaches a lot about keeping the "identity" of champs when they rework them, but apparently those who liked Quinn's identity as an adc dualist(there arent many of them) dont actually matter.

With JAX and TRYNDEMERE they don't even need to roam, they're already a 3v2 on a stick.

Give Quinn the damage too! Give Quinn the damage too!

Actually on the next Patch she gets Tweaked/nerfed on the Q? Im sad my assasin quinn doesnt work anymore but well i still like the homeguard mid lane rush with ultimate.

what would u suggest as Build for her on Midlane? (just trying out Yomus - Essence Reaver - Trinity-....)

We mained quinn for two and more years. How hard is for you to understand that we dont want our quinn becoming a roamer?????? We just dont want a roamer and we dont main her two years for ROAMING. Is that so hard that we should tell it all the guys here in Spanish or italian too?

Might I suggest to stop taking champions we're comfortable in one lane and moving them somewhere else? Some people have this thing known as a champion pool. And doing this disrupts the balance.

Yes her roaming in mid is very good but we dont main quinn to play in mid lane and roaming but adc bottom duo lane where she is designed to be and where is designed to shine.

obviously playing her wrong then. She is one of the strongest snowballers right now.

The comments in this thread astound me.

Let's recap the reasoning behind the changes shall we? The ADC role had virtually no class subset before patch 5.22. The strongest ADCs were - simply put - the ones who were the best Period. There wasn't a whole lot of strategic choice in the matter. Can your ADC deal an insane amount of damage in the shortest amount of time while having a modicum of safety? Great! This is why there was always a holy trinity of ADCs since the game was released. Once upon a time, that was Cait, Ez, Corki; during this year's worlds it was Trist, Kalista and Jinx. You never picked an ADC to accommodate a certain playstyle or team composition because their ability to influence different matchups was basically non-existent. By contrast, you have a great variety of characters you can choose midlane, assassins, pokers, control mages, AP and AD... the list goes on. Riot explained many times over that they wanted to bring strategic diversity into the mix while making sure that a match can't be decided at champ-select.

Now let's talk about Quinn and why she needed a change. Quinn has had a historically abysmal career in LoL. Her pick-rate hovered between 0.5 and 1%, her winrate was in the mid 40% and she was marred by AA bugs since her release. Quinn's strengths were always determined by two things; her ability to duel and mobility. Being that she is a Demacian scout, it makes sense that a great deal of her power budget would be stored in her traversal skills. In case you haven't been around long enough to see the days when Kass, TF, Panth, Shen, Rammus, Hecarim, Shyvanna or (more recently) teleport were powerful then let me spell it out for you; the ability to quickly re-position your character across the map is a very powerful ability. To compensate for that amped-up power, Riot decided to remove her blind, that being said Quinn is still very bursty with Harrier, and very hard to skirmish against. In fact, bar Vayne I don't really know if there's another ADC that has better dueling potential.

So no, Quinn is not bad, and she has never been a good pick botlane over other ADCs. Seriously, bring her top lane and watch as _Riven _ continually fails to catch you, cries "OP", and watches you gank her allies as she hopelessly tries to catch up on farm. Quinn hilariously counters melee, it's insane.

lightdragoon881 votes

Well said.

SeargentAnus3 votes

She does even more damage now. Some of her matchups are rough because she needed the blind, but overall she does a lot more than she did before.

Cherysse2 votes

She does a lot less damage now, and she can't terminate anyone with her AoE ult as she did before, so well, you should get it.

Shac Norris2 votes

The only thing i regret with her is the blind

That's pretty much it.

By the way, the ''HAHAHAHAHAHA'' makes you sound really mad.. you probably shouldn't say that

ImpossibleGT2 votes

I predict Quinn will soon be FotM. She was always pretty bursty early game, and now she gets an extra harrier activation off of Q. Her only problem right now is still how buggy harrier is -- or more accurately how slow Valor is to mark targets. It's extremely easy to miss procs between her Passive > E > Q combo because the mark doesn't "take" as soon as Valor flies in, it takes an extra little bit before you can proc it. It is extremely annoying and should have been fixed awhile ago.

Lady Septimus2 votes

man on pbe she was so strong and overwhelming XD

fear of Quinn2 votes

New Quinn is a trash. She fakked my mmr and i quitted her although i was quinn main. The proof she sucks is that her winration dropped lower after rework and the point that they will rework her again in 5.23 patch(new semi blind, no execute dmg etc etc). The fact is tha we are not all patient with Riot"s hard mistakes which are disrespectfull to quinns mains so i quitted this game forever. I cant accept that the rework destroyed my main champion and now after all these troubles i should wait them to fix her again. I am not a kid accepting them trolling me. Looong story. Bb all

I think letting her move while channeling her ult would help a bit.
