Should your LP Gain/Loss be based off your score instead of MMR?

Currently the ranked system, as far as I'm aware, gives you LP gains and losses based on the mmr of everyone in the room. This is predetermined the moment you get into champ select. Unless they've changed something when they released dynamic queue, I'm guessing this holds true. Should ranked LP gains/losses be determined by score instead of MMR though? Especially because of dynamic queue where it's so easy to boost your friends that are premade. At the very least, if people got boosted to an unreasonable elo, they would have a much harder time maintaining their rank if they only gained a few points per win and lost a lot for losses if they did badly.

It might also contribute to the smurf problem, where smurfs get ranked up faster, making it harder for them to boost their friends ;-; Thoughts? ;-; don't crucify me pls

Don't you dare make suggestions that would hurt Riot's aborted mutant baby which is Dynamic Queue.

Yeah, there's a lot of ways objective skill can be measured in league outside of w/l ratio. the ELO system wasn't designed around a dynamic team game, and doesn't take into account the teammates factor. Postgame graph tells me a lot more about how I'm doing as a player than a green or red stripe in my match history.

In my ideal world, a win or loss should give or take away 10 points, but your skill and individual proformacne would determine a +20/-20 range per game. Maximum gain/loss capped depending on MMR, as it is now. Punishes feeding in ranked by taking LP to those with no contribution to a team's victory, reduces tilt by allowing players who try their hardest while loosing to break even or come out a little up if their contribution is godly.

It's not a the best idea. Supports probably wouldn't do so well, especially if they're tanky initiators who may start a fight, then die, but net their team the ace. A support may often times die for another person on the team when they are caught out or w/e. Score based evaluation encourages KSing and selfish play far more than teamwork.

Maybe idea is bad but i agree that LP gain based on mmr is dumb. After a lose streak, as diamond 2 player i got matched with high plats and i lose twice as lp as i gain, and thats very unfair conisdering theres so many variables that you dont control in the game. And being in a state where game drags you down cause matchmaker "thinks" you belong lower than you are is most dishearting and discouraging feeling to continiue playing ranked.
