Pre-game runes & "clarity"
I had two ideas that I think can improve gameplay for many players. Please contribute your ideas or comments!

Make some feature that allows you to view other summoners' chosen runes. a) I think this would improve clarity (especially for new players), one of those pillars of value Riot promotes. b) Experienced players can already click your portrait and basically figure out most of your runes by being familiar with champions' base stats or mousing over the armor and seeing (+X). Kind of like the change where jungle timers were added...the information is basically already there if you know how to find it; this is a more fair change that promotes clarity for all players (especially newer players). c) People can check runes on lolnexus.com anyway so why not make this feature available for everyone as part of the game? It's unfair that some players can just check lolnexus.com and try to develop a strategy based off runes while other players may not have the same information and opportunities to do so. (or not even know this is possible)

Make it possible to edit rune pages in the pre-game lobby. a) We can do this with masteries, why not runes? b) I have 18 rune pages but still it's impossible to create enough for the slew of champions I may choose any given game. For example, depending on my matchup, I use 1 of 3 different pages as singed. Do i need flat armor ? can I use scaling yellow/blues? can i use ap blues? ... I play about 15-20 different champions regularly and it's impossible to create more than one rune page for each of them. Yet different situations call for different runes on the same champion. it's annoying being limited to the runes pages created pre-pre-game lobby. c) A big part of each game is coming up with some pre-game strategy and then attempting to carry it out in game. You can strategize based on lane counters, late game scaling , etc., and still more with runes, so why not give more freedom to pick your runes specific to the match-ups? d) Obviously this would remove the need for players to purchase many runes pages, and that's really the main counter-argument I see. I know mine aren't the strongest, but please suggest reasons NOT to implement this change if you disagree.
