We need more rune choices.

As in: Keystones, the runes below, and the shards. If people want for more diversity, then surely you can add more.

Suggestion: Add more Keystones to Resolve, Sorcery and Inspiration.

While easier said than done, it would give more incentive to choose those three compared to Precision and Domination.

Keystone Ideas:

Sorcery: Deathfire’s Ward. Enemies you damage with basic attacks and spells slowly built up charges (1 per basic attack, 1 per enemy you damage with a spell or ability). Once 100 charges are met, the next time you take damage, you get a shield blocking 40 - 280 damage. This has a 35 second cooldown, in where you will not build charges until it refreshes.

Resolve: Shield Wall. All attacks taken in the front are reduced by 10%. Effect is halved on the sides, and effect is null at the back.

Inspiration: Philosopher’s Eye. All wards you plant have an extra health point. Your ward limit also increases by one.

Another suggestion: Let us choose what stat shards we can take.

I know they want to promote the stat shards for three categories, but why can’t we just pick and choose from a larger list? I can choose the CDR, health and armor, but why can’t I just pick MR, armor and health instead? Same thing for all our damage. Instead of forcing myself to pick a health rune, why can’t I choose two adaptive forces and attack speed, or three attack speed, or three adaptive forces?

I like these keystone ideas, they all look and sound really fun. Also, thank you for being one of the people who, when they suggest new content, makes it slightly underpowered, I always feel like it's generally just the right way to make suggestions

Thanks for that! You got any more suggestions?

No.

Keystones should be straight up deleted.

But why?

Is it cuz of old Masteries? You think they did it that much better?

Toxic Teeto2 votes

No. The game should be balanced around CHAMPIONS, not masteries or keystones.

One keystone is enough to break a champion. That's not good design.

It was the same with old runes. Gold per level, crit chance, movement speed quints, BUYING OUR RUNES. Doesn’t that ever cross your mind?

Read what I said. :)

That doesn’t say anything. Old runes and masteries has more detrimental drawbacks to the playerbase, scaring newbies away with its high prices, and the fact that it doesn’t even do anything. One could call it a pay2win in order to win at high elo.

New runes are easier to use, simpler to understand, user friendly, able to change it during champ select, and free. The runes being overpowered could be a player problem.

let's see:

Sorcery - Pulsar: (a battlemage keystone) moving and casting spells causes you to generate charges, at 100 charges your next spell that damages an enemy will also shield you for 40-210+(15% Bonus AD)+(10% AP) damage, the shield lasts 1.5 seconds.

Inspiration or Sorcery (makes more thematic sense in inspiration but considering who it's geared towards it would work better in sorcery)- Opportunist: (meant for catchers) you and all nearby allies gain 20% bonus movement speed for 3 seconds when you immobilize an enemy champion, additionally that enemy takes 3-5% more damage for the duration of the initial immobilizing effect. Cooldown: 45 seconds

Resolve - Locus Of Control (warden keystone) when you use your ultimate all nearby allies gain 20% damage reduction for 3 seconds. 60 second cooldown

These are really good keystones, although Locus of Control seems really strong, since it targets ALL nearby allies.

yeah, it probably is, that one might get knocked down a tad

Maybe give it to the target you’re protecting?

Or better yet, just revert to the old runes and masteries. We had way more options, and way more better options than the crap they pigeonholed us into with Runes Reforged.
