Azir has long been in the dumpster in soloq because of competitive play. however, right now he's just downright terrible at soloq and isn't even played in the competitive.

he has hovered around 44% winrate the past few patches, and is currently sitting at 43.37%. this is rather terrible given his high average games played by his playerbase, being the 9th best mid in that regard with about 57 games on average with azir.

while the winrate for experienced players on him is fine, at almost 55, it also has an extremely small sample size given his already mediocre pickrate at 2%

so as i said, i do realize that he's mediocre because of competitive play. however, he isnt even played there currently. you did it with gragas, who was in a similar situration last patch, so i hope you're planning to help azir as well, at least to some degree.

what do you guys think?

His win rate is trash because noobs pick him up and play him and suck ass.

Azir is very strong, but only when played with a strong front line. His damage potential is through the roof, and he has some great escape and zoning tools. He doesn't have much else, though, which makes him weak in solo q and on uncoordinated teams. I'm not sure what they could easily do, though, because he does have incredible strengths.

He's not terrible if you know how to play him. I'm a long time Azir main, basically since he was released and I'm sitting at a 65% win rate out of like 50 ranked games at plat elo this season with him.
