Remove the Honor System

When it comes to honoring teammates, players seem to just turn their brain off and vote for whoever carried the team.

Just got carried by Katarina in URF. He was also one of the most toxic players I have seen in weeks. Thanked him for the clean gank he pulled off in bottom lane, then got flamed into oblivion for no reason after I saved us from Blitzcrank? He kept blaming his team for all his deaths, consistently called people/team useless during the game, pointed out everything his teammates did wrong, and spammed pings all over the map just to be annoying. Surprise! He was declared the most honorable player on the team??? Just because he carried?

Just remove the entire honor system already Riot, because clearly the players don't know how to use it. Honor means absolutely nothing. Was this system only meant as a free reward system, or is there actually supposed to be some honorable play involved?

Report them, they will go down in honor levels (or perhaps just not go up and remain where they are, assuming it's a more rare occurrence) if they deserve the reports they get, if it's consistent enough behavior. Personally I don't honor toxic people, I do keep All Chat off so I've no idea if people are being toxic there, but if they're being toxic on team chat, they will not get my honor.
