Let's talk about the Warrior Enchantment!

Well, this is another post complaining about the Warrior enchant. We all know the problem. It's literally just a huge power spike for AD casters and full AD assassin junglers with no strategic depth at all. Personally, I'd love to give it the Runeglaive treatment. Give it a Sheen proc! It's already an AD caster item, but a lot of AD casters can't afford to build a Trinity/IBG because they need to build items with large amounts of AD to be effective. So, let's run through a list of ideas that could be added as a Sheen proc.

  • Shield

It feels like a shield on a Sheen proc would be interesting. It offers sustain in the jungle, and it encourages AD casters to space out their abilities. There's no item like this already within the game, so it adds an interesting twist on the junglers who could utilize this. My only worry is that it would force the junglers aforementioned into a defensive start, or they'd ignore the item. I feel it would be really easy to balance, since shields can be flat/decaying/etc.

  • AD / Level Scaling True Damage

Just like Spirit of the Elder Lizard, we could bring it back again. AD Casters are usually durable fighters and assassins who are often in the middle of team fights with AoE abilities (Lee, Wukong, Pantheon, Vi). Being able to proc true damage on these abilities would suit a lot of these champions extremely well.

  • Miniature Black Cleaver

It's an item that most AD casters are going to build second item immediately after their Warrior enchantment. Why not give it 15 - 20 percent UNIQUE armor reduction? This would allow them to spend up their build a lot faster and get into another stat that they want to build. The item itself would be attractive enough to encourage buying it first, and it would be core.

When I think of the Warrior enchant, I think of characters that are absolutely in the thick of things. There are tons of ideas that could be thrown around (AOE damage, debuffs, knockback attacks, etc.), but these were the ones I thought were most likely to succeed. Any other ideas?

Yeah....warrior doesn't really need anything, Why do you think it's been the most untouched jungler item since they came out?

Honestly I have no problem with the current iteration of Warrior. I guess it's "just" a ball o' stats item, but some champs just want a ball o' stats. To give it a passive you'd have to make the ball o' stats smaller in order to compensate for the...I don't have a funny thing for a passive. A tumor on the ball o' stats? The point is, no, I don't think Warrior needs anything, its fine the way it is, if boring

Some junglers do want just a ball of stats, but honestly, I don't feel balls of stats fall in line with the current iteration of the game. This preseason and last season were all about meaningful choices and decisions. It doesn't really feel meaningful to just buy a big ball of stats. The spike it gives is why players buy the item, but shouldn't there be more to it than just a spike of damage for champions with high AD ratios?
