Time distortion
What with all the new mechanics lately, theres a possibility that's really captured my imagination: time alteration. Particularly a large aoe time slow, where the game runs slower. Character movement, animations, cooldowns, projectiles, etc all have reduced speed, turning duels into those intense slowmo fights Machinima is constantly uploading. This could create lots of high moments as players duel or teamfght in slowmo, reacting and dodging each other's skills, which would in turn help players learn to outplay.
Passive: basic attacks apply a DoT to enemy champions, with a short targeted cooldown. The DoT tick rate can be accelerated but not slowed, though the duration and cooldown can.
Q: summons 3 prismatic pillars, recasts hurl them to deal aoe damage. The area bound by the pillars is affected by the other skills. The pillars remain until recast. (Immobile while casting and must throw them in the same general direction so that you can harass buy not make a ridiculous zone)
W: Time within the zone is accelerated slightly, increasing speed, regen, cd, effect expiration, etc for all units.
E: Time within the zone is slowed slightly, doing the opposite of W.
R: If at least one enemy and one ally champion are within the zone, all champions within the zone enter an alternate timespace where time is massively slowed. (They will be translucent and "off the map" as far as everyone else is concerned, making this a truly isolated slowmo battle. The other abilities played with the dynamics of weak time manipulation, this is where the big moments happen). The ult ends when this champ recasts, is killed, or all champs on one team within the ult are killed.
Let me know what you think. And yes, i am aware that fiora could be pretty ridiculous with that ult.
