Surrender should not count against thoes that vote against it.

What sense does it make for a person to suffer a defeat because their team out voted them for a surrender. They should not be punished because their team fed. If a person has a 0/20 score and they vote no, then they should be punished. however if they have something like a positive or equal score but their team is just crap, then they shouldn't be punished with a defeat; lowering their mmr and causing them to be matched with more people that suck. Im fine with surrender in the game, it shouldn't punish those that want to continue to play and they are doing decent or excellent in lane or game.

That's a lot of unnecessary free passes, and is something that could be abused relentlessly, and without a safe word to hold it back.

I don't see how that wouldn't be abused.

Maybe Riot could do something else to reward people for not surrendering, but loss prevented is way too much to ask for.

Nah that's a terrible idea.

It's usually the feeders that wont surrender.

I think people surrender too often but this is an awful idea. It would be nearly impossible to get a surrender vote while people are thinking "if I'm the only one to vote 'no' then this won't count as a loss!"
