but that's because Oracle granted Vision and when bought on a tank it would shut down any champion who relies on stealth.

However, the ones who bought it were always Supports. Yet, Supports back then were literally wardbots who would buy 15 wards everytime they went base and 3 or 4 pinks. Rendering Oracles useless as Sonas would die in a single Draven Crit since she had no items at all.

Since Elixirs don't provide anything but stats and a passive who affects no one but the person who bought it, they wouldn't be so problematic imo.
