Garen is overpowered.. what do i even do against him?
Even if I win lane against garen in laning phase his team fight is just too good. What is this champion?

garen isnt op. its just that for the first time in his entire existence, hes not a meme anymore, but genuinely a decent champion.
people barely making it to masters on him was a gigantic accomplishment.
is he on the strong side currently? yes. but part of it is the current meta, and not so far that hes problematic.
hes still strongest from bronze to plat and falls off in d3+

ADCs nerfed so nothing can kill him during early/mid game even of you kite him.
like, just don't be near him. if all you have is a slow wait until after he uses Q.
Try teemo and don't come near him, and it's especially important to not get near him. When he Qs you do the same and Q him, don't ever Q before he does when out of his range. If he does get in range you're most likely dead, just Q him in that case (unless he just Q, wait out his cd then) and try to get away.
I play garen, he's pretty good rn and i had an 80% winrate last season according to the season overview. He can 1v9 in lower elos but that's only because of his stat checky nature. Just keep 1 thing in mind, if he builds full tank like you did he only offers average dps compared to squishies and has no real hard cc. His gapcloser is also just him running at you, so counter that like you counter a rammus or singed.
Realize this, if you allow him to get strong enough to stat check you, you're never gonna come back on your own.
LAst tip for anyone struggling vs him in lane: FFs don't just let me Q you everytime my damn grasp proc comes up, like how do you not realise that's a bad idea after the 5th time. atleast try to trade back.
Kite him,lol,kite a champion that removes slows,and gets more than 50% tenacity and almost the same amount of damage reduction from an ability, Win against a champion with no CDs,no mana, free warmogs,true damage, speed buff,silence,armor AOE penetration. Sure,Idk I hope something good happens to people that play garen, I hope they find the brainpower to play other champions and some how stop being mentally challenged.
