Right now, it is pretty frustrating to play riven and still be able to not carry. Even tho, you win lane and do everything right, you will still lose the game if your adc is not better than the enemy adc. Adc can carry way harder than a Riven.

Right now, riot is going to make riven players get Randuin's Omen. So, another defensive item that you are forced after sterek and maw.

If you add all this up, if everyone doesn't buy the pulsefire riven skin, riot will speed up fixing bruisers.

Riven can already delete squishies as fast if not faster than some assassins, and has a 100% scailing shield on a 10-6 second cool down and an aoe knockup, stun and execute, what more do you want? Oh and and a decent amount of range whilst using her ult that lasts a decent amount of time.

Yeah I don't know about that, I was playing a Riven game where I went 16/0/13, and another as 22/7/12, relatively easy to carry as long as you know what you are doing and your teammates aren't trolling.

The only games I have difficulty carrying are Riven vs Teemo.

Guys as a riven main i should say that there are some games that riven can carry and there are some games that riven cant carry even if she is fed af. If enemy team has too much cc or counter engage like malzahar, janna, ivern exc. , the carrying potential of riven will down. that moment you should decide your build. you can either go lethality to delete protective sup and adc with flash engage or wall jump or you can build life steal like death dance and hydra to deal with tanks. but that doesnt mean you can win every game by going proper build. you should also decide what to do in game considering your situation. if you feel useless in fights bc of too much cc, go split or hide the bush next to the red buff and try to kill enemy adc before team figths. and lastly riven is really risky champ since she has really hard mechanics. so only one mistake you made with her may result in lost team fight. what i mean by saying all these things is pls dont complain about ballanced champs. if you are gold and play like plat riven player you can probably carry. also there is something called meta. play meta champs and climb. simple af. no one has ever said that u can carry if you done everything correctly (you cant do everything correctly btw).
