I don't get how match making works

Yes I have heard all the words before , but nothing adds up. When I was in bronze, my team did stupid shit and so did the other team. I thought when I got to silver the stupid would be reduced a bit.

I went into placement and got stomped by gold players. How is that even allowed? I managed to win one game in placements and somehow that placed me in S5?????????

Then I play 3 or 4 games and make 100LP and go into promos and get stomped hard like 10 in a row.

My team is just like they were in bronze but the other team is coordinated and has jungle involvement. My support has no idea what is going on and I don't even know who my jungle is unless I look to see who has smite.

And of course these assholes flame the whole game and ping and threaten to report the whole time. And none of them will ever FF. So you are stuck in this bullshit mismatch getting flamed and reported.

EVERY FUCKING GAME

No matter what I do. Even when I go 9/3 jungle and gank every lane and get dragons etc...they just all feed or run away or both. And when I am walking to my red the 2/9 adc is taking it even when I ping it.

If I am in lane, I notice my lane opponent plays WAY above silver and I get run over from them and their jungle and of course my jungle never shows up until after I die or just runs in to KS and take a wave and leave.

I think this whole game is so broken it is ridiculous.

None of it makes any sense.

Why are promo games twice as hard as the game right before?

OK I have lost about 10 in a row now and my LP is 12 from 100, so maybe I can win a few now.
