@Riot, add Flashless Mode to the weekend game rotation?

So some friends and I were talking, and we ended up getting into a debate over Flash's value vs its necessity.

And it hit me, why not add a Flashless Mode to the weekend game rotation? Nothing special, just the regular Summoner's Rift, but with Flash disabled.

The debate on whether the summoner should be removed or not has been going on forever, as far as I know, and with the special game modes, we all have a chance to see EXACTLY what it would be like to not have Flash anymore, without just tearing it out of the regular game and invoking the wrath of half the playerbase. I'm interested to see if my friends' opinions change after playing such a game mode.

The RGM modes are additive: they add something new to League (an Ancient Ascended, a Poro King, the URF buff) which players have to figure out how to work WITH. This is subtractive: it's just a handicap that people have to work AROUND. The champions that are best in this hypothetical game mode aren't the ones that take advantage of the changes in interesting ways: it's the ones that can ignore the changes the best.

Yeah, what Veni said. Players would just select champions who can live without Flash, it wouldn't show how the meta champions can deal without Flash for any sort of data collection or experimentation.

Not everyone takes flash, would be pretty irrelevant, as other sums work fine too, ghost even got a big buff this patch.

We already know that, pleb ... it would be called League of Mobility, since there would be no point whatsoever to pick immobile champs. It would be like the URF all over again.
