For the love of God why do Infernal dragons continue to exist in their current form?

Seriously, they are absolutely awful. They are completely 100% broken and make the game worse. They make it worse in Solo Q, they make it worse to watch in pro play, they just suck. If you're going to have RNG drakes, don't have 1 or 2 that are completely busted then the rest garbage, that's just bad game design, and how Riot has not realized this yet is beyond me. I hate playing top lane and seeing Infernals spawn and go to the other team, as I am powerless to affect the outcome. I hate watching pro teams and seeing this early game crap that is a dice roll for dragons. You get triple infernals? Congratulations, your early game comp is now a late game comp. Get Oceans and Clouds? Better win by 25-30 or you auto lose. Even worse if you're on the other team that drafts scaling bottom lanes, you can just get straight up shafted by drake spawns and there's literally nothing they can do.

I'll also bring up elder, which is also just a dumb dragon too. True burn damage is just such a damn awkward buff, yea it can be good, but really it's full power is STILL gated by Infernal dragons, by temporarily elevating them from busted to more busted. Otherwise, in League of Damage, burn damage doesn't anything when everyone is just getting blown up anyways.

So, here's an idea, why don't you switch the effects of the two buffs? Infernals give burn damage, like %current health burn damage, which would make it the inverse of Oceans, while Elder just gives you tons of raw damage stats. Makes sense, it would make the dragon more situational, the Elder more outright good, while also fitting the them of a FIRE dragon. Just nerf Ez before you do it and it'd be fine, he needs them anyways.

Anyways, that's my rant. I'm not opposed to strong dragons, weak dragons, RNG dragons, or whatever, JUST MAKE THEM ACTUALLY CONSISTENT!

I don't think elder burn should exist at all and they should give 1ea drake a la urf.

The elemental drakes are basically just the old stacking buff but stackable. The first drake was always 8% AP/AD and its easy to forget but, this buffs the power of defensive tools as well.

Meanwhile, Elders buff gives massive waveclear power because even a weak AoE ability melts minions, and Elder is the only way AD Casters can quickly clear Siege minions due to 100 armor + up to like 4k HP. Its the same logic as the Baron buff giving flat AD+AP and tankier minions allowing counter-siege tools to be less effective and help close out the game.

Elder has the easiest counterplay in the game though; End the game before 35 minutes. It should never actually spawn
