Leona main strengh is her "cc" and most of it "scales terribly with ap". by herself she can never win 1v1 fight with skilled player unless you 100% play her top build her damage... oh by the way "Good luck with that" cause pre-6 leona is awful" and you porbably sitting at your tower given enemy top laner free farm watch is never good.

reason why leona is powerful is "teamwork" in team fights she is beast. and she so post to be. her Q should stay at 4.0 cool-down and rest of abilities are fine.

If your having trouble with leona riot team shouldnt have nerf her cause you lack ability to use tools giving too you. summoner spell cleanse is easy way shut her down.

however what riot can do is buff summoner spell cleanse watch allow players to combat these threat

then their is aftershock, aftershock is pretty powerful but its not broken. again if your having trouble against leona. then its your fault your skill not riots problem

another thing if leona misses her hook. misses her ult she in world of hurt. its matter of skill leonas hooks is easy to bait and dodge . without her hook she cant go in unless she flash auto <q> auto

please learn to play not get angry cause you messed up got hit by her full combo

watch by itself can only lower you 45-55% your hp it cant kill

if it kills it mostly cause teammates worked with leona take down target

also never focus leona in team fight. you have better targets like mid laner or adc. killing the support in 5v5 thats normally extremely tankly isn't a way to win team fights clean house then fight leona. you see shes not that strong</q>

Stop fooling yourself, there is good reason why she has 55% wr/16% pr/44% br in dia+ Korea, she is currently better than Naut, she deserves nothing but nerfs to her dmg or cc, she can't have both, period.

why your saying that lets talk about laning phase do. really think enemy top laner specially a lane bully well let you farm. most likely without jungle support it be hard for you farm unless you freeze. under tower. i had full ap build right at max charge is like 300 + ap damage on top of its normal damage is comes into play her ult somewhat the same. then have add mr

why riot has nerf champions cause bunch idiots don't know how dodge their skill shots. your one you got hook'd when could easily predicted it moved out the way. but didn't and died for it. have you learned nothing?

yeah this is still some elitist BS. People dodge skill shots all the time. People miss skill shots all the time There is unfortunately no real penalty for missing a skill shot, and no real benefit for you for dodging one cuz it's just going to get spammed at you over and over again until you finally mess up and then you get punished purely for not being literally 100% perfect at the game, and that's just shit design. And it's hardly just leona that's at fault here, a lot of champions have insanely spammy skillshots with instant death repercussions for failing to dodge them. Lux, Morg, Senna, Veigar etc. etc.

yeah lets just ignore the fact that leona support + any ADC means if you step out of line even an inch you get blown the fuck up with no chance to escape. Her damage isn't a problem when she's alone, when you combine that with her CC and a carry she is cancer.

I mean, frankly I'd rather just lower damage in the game for every champion by at least 20%, at which point leona probably won't be such a hard stop for people because then the combined damage isn't enough to just instantly 100 to 0 people at level 2.

then whos fault is it you went up against leona knowning what she capable off. and screwed up. screwing up is punishable. if adc is stepping out of lane. and enemy support teaches them why they shouldn't. fault is on you not the design

why not learn from your mistake. pro players learn from it even some bronze players know. how deal with leona. i main leona. so i know her weakness's well I know if miss my hook or my ult no reason going in cause just get kited to death.

if cant dodge even most basic of skillshots. then bot lane isn't for you

The problem is that screwing up right now constitutes walking slightly too far right or left of the creep wave and the consequence is instant fucking death and a level and item deficit, it's way too fucking extreme.

Yea But Leona is a all in Engage. If your adc doesn't follow up, or you have a counter support for her.. then she is pretty much a Poke target.

Usually if i see a leona i take a Nami, or a soraka. IF i wanna play agressive vs a leona I take morg Blitz Shes not hard to counter at all and unless your team has no concept of how to work as a team then yea she can be a bit oppressive.

She's not broken, but she's incredibly frustrating to fight against. If you fail to dodge one skillshot (that can't be blocked by minions), you get locked down for like 4 seconds. Sure, the range on it is shorter than other engage supports, but she's so tanky that you can't punish her for stepping up. She can completely zone you off the wave simply by existing.

I don't think Leona needs an overall nerf, but rather, both buffs and nerfs to make her less frustrating to play against, but more fun to play. Maybe tone down extreme duration of her lockdown combo in exchange for shorter cooldowns, so she can set up those plays more frequently.

Janna (Hard counters her) Alister (will hard punish her) Morgana (Hard counters her) Sanna (also destroy leona) Brand (Cancer)

if you pick a champion knowing leona has edge over you again thats your fault

Only hardcounters are Janna and Poppy(and kinda Fiddle).

I would like to say that Morg is hardcounter, but the fact that her E will still pull Leo towards shielded target and then she can ult the other target/wait out shield->q, is enough and 53% wr for Leona vs Morg matchup backs it up.

Alistar is just worse Leona, sure you can combo her after she is on you, but do you want to blow it into tanky support? Leo is also better in teamfights and arguably has more threatening roams.

Senna/Brand/insert immobile support are extremely easy targets for Leo what do you mean?

What's this excuse lol, every support needs good players backing up(or bad in opposing team) in order to have nice wr, but the fact that she autowins majority of matchups(except 3, maybe 4) speaks for itself.
